Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe Esta tarde el jefe del Estado, Pedro Castillo Terrones, sostuvo una intensa reunión de trabajo con Mancomunidades Municipales de Lima Metropolitana, la cita cónclave se realizó en Palacio de Gobierno, al Termino de la misma diversos alcalde mostraron su respaldo a las políticas y propuestas del gobierno, temas que serán abordados el día de mañana en la Sesión del Consejo de Ministros, en lo que a materia municipal se refiere.

En esta cita con los alcaldes de Lima Metropolitana, sostuvo que corresponde hacer, junto con los gobiernos locales, una cruzada más fuerte y cohesionada en el marco de la lucha contra la delincuencia.

El jefe del Estado señaló la importancia de fortalecer las acciones de apoyo y coordinación de parte de las Fuerzas Armadas con la Policía Nacional en el combate a la inseguridad ciudadana.

“No podemos permitir que los delincuentes sigan haciendo de las suyas; necesitamos escuelas, barrios y mercados seguros”, enfatizó durante su participación en la reunión plenaria con mancomunidades municipales de Lima Metropolitana, que se desarrolló esta tarde en Palacio de Gobierno.

En esa línea, destacó los esfuerzos de los burgomaestres para fortalecer el serenazgo y brindar un apoyo más eficaz a la Policía Nacional.

“He visto también que coordinan con licenciados del Ejército; organizar a los barrios y fortalecer las juntas vecinales es importante”, señaló.

Durante la reunión, el presidente Castillo agradeció a los alcaldes por su apoyo y trabajo responsable para alcanzar los éxitos en la vacunación de la población contra la COVID-19.

No obstante, manifestó que hay mucho más por hacer, toda vez que existe una deuda en materia de infraestructura en salud que es importante atender.

El jefe del Estado también pidió a las autoridades municipales su apoyo para alcanzar una presencialidad escolar exitosa y sostenible.

“Así como abrazaron esa causa por la salud del pueblo, hoy los estamos convocando a una gran cruzada para el retorno a la presencialidad”, anotó.

“Esto significa que, desde el espacio de la municipalidad, los maestros encuentren los ambientes adecuados, que los alumnos tengan garantizada su alimentación, que los comedores populares estén cercanos a las instituciones”, indicó.

En otro momento, el presidente Castillo adelantó que mañana, en la sesión del Consejo de Ministros, se debatirá la propuesta referida a ampliar los aforos en espacios abiertos y cerrados, con la visión de impulsar una reactivación económica responsable.

“En paralelo, vamos a canalizar, por medio de los alcaldes, los presupuestos necesarios para ejecutar las obras que el pueblo necesita”, puntualizó.

Along these lines, he highlighted the efforts of the mayors to strengthen serenazgo and provide more effective support to the National Police.

“I have also seen that they coordinate with Army graduates; organizing the neighborhoods and strengthening the neighborhood councils is important”, he pointed out.

During the meeting, President Castillo thanked the mayors for their support and responsible work to achieve success in vaccinating the population against COVID-19.

However, he stated that there is much more to do, since there is a debt in terms of health infrastructure that is important to address.

The head of state also asked the municipal authorities for their support to achieve a successful and sustainable attendance at school.

“Just as they embraced that cause for the health of the people, today we are calling them to a great crusade to return to face-to-face attendance,” he noted.

“This means that, from the space of the municipality, teachers find the right environments, that students have guaranteed food, that soup kitchens are close to institutions,” he said.

At another time, President Castillo announced that tomorrow, in the session of the Council of Ministers, the proposal referring to expanding the capacity in open and closed spaces will be debated, with the vision of promoting a responsible economic reactivation.

“In parallel, we are going to channel, through the mayors, the necessary budgets to carry out the works that the people need,” he pointed out.
