“Más de 4,800 productos peruanos con valor agregado llegaron a los principales mercados del mundo, siendo liderados por las uvas frescas, los arándanos, las paltas, café en granos, pota congelada, alambres de cobre, fosfatos de calcio, camisetas de algodón, entre otros”, resaltó al participar en la presentación de los resultados de exportaciones 2021, que estuvo a cargo del ministro de Comercio Exterior y Turismo, Roberto Sánchez.

El mandatario instó a los sectores público y privado a seguir trabajando juntos, para posicionar al Perú como un país más justo e igualitario, confiable, competitivo, proveedor de productos de alta calidad para el mercado interno y para el mundo.

Al indicar que la lucha contra la pandemia y la vacunación de la población contra la COVID-19 son tareas primordiales de su gestión, señaló que el otro desafío del Gobierno ha sido la recuperación económica, donde “hemos obtenido importantes logros que han pasado un poco desapercibidos”.

“El plan de reactivación económica, el impulso de las inversiones públicas y privadas, la estabilidad jurídica y las reglas claras, nos permitieron lograr un crecimiento superior al 13 por ciento en el 2021, la mayor expansión de América Latina”, resaltó.

PRIMER EXPORTADOR MUNDIAL DE UVAS
El jefe del Estado destacó que el Perú se posicionó como el primer exportador mundial de uvas frescas el 2021 y que fueron las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas las que jugaron el papel muy importante en este avance.

“Nuestra producción es más descentralizada que en el pasado. Once regiones lograron cifras récord.

Esperamos que en los próximos meses se avance al resto de las regiones del país. Felicitamos a las regiones de Ica, Arequipa, La Libertad, Puno, Cusco, Ucayali y Amazonas”, expresó.

“Estos datos no son resultado únicamente de la gestión del Gobierno, sino, sobre todo, un logro de nuestros emprendedores y exportadores quienes, a pesar de la pandemia y la incertidumbre en el exterior, no se detuvieron, ni se intimidaron, sino que continuaron firmes y perseverantes en su meta por alcanzar nuevos destinos y colocar nuestros productos en los mercados internacionales”, subrayó.

Tras anotar que el país avanza en crecimiento y en exportaciones, pero también se posiciona en el exterior, el mandatario recordó que una conocida agencia internacional señaló recientemente que el Perú tiene la economía más sólida, estable y de menor riesgo en América Latina y el Caribe.

“Asimismo, en enero último nuestro país recibió la invitación del Consejo de la Organización para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo Económicos (OCDE) para iniciar el proceso de adhesión a esta importante organización conformada por las naciones más desarrolladas del mundo”, refirió.

Apuntó que el Perú también ha sido elegido como sede del Foro de Cooperación Económica AsiaPacífico en el año 2024, en que recibiremos a los más importantes líderes mundiales.

“Estos son hechos importantes que, a veces, pasan a segundo plano por el fragor del debate político, pero que demuestran cómo nuestro país se va recuperando con el esfuerzo de todos. En esta lucha por recuperar la economía y dar garantía económica y jurídica a nuestros agroexportadores, nadie debe quedarse atrás; ese será nuestro trabajo permanente”, enfatizó.

El presidente Castillo también ratificó el compromiso de su gestión de seguir impulsando con responsabilidad el crecimiento y el desarrollo del país, para reducir las brechas sociales y generar condiciones de bienestar para todos los peruanos y peruanas.
