Encuentro contó con la participación de los titulares de MINEDU, MINAM, MINEM y MIDIS, del viceministro de Transporte del MTC, y de parlamentarios de la región Cusco.
“El Ejecutivo, con el gobierno nacional y regional, y el Legislativo tienen que trabajar de manera conjunta para lograr los grandes objetivos, como la mejora de la educación con el reinicio de las clases presenciales y la mejora de la infraestructura educativa y del currículo escolar”, manifestó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial.
El encuentro contó con la participación del gobernador regional de Cusco, Jean Paul Benavente, y de los ministros de Educación, Leonardo Serna; Ambiente, Modesto Montoya; Energía y Minas, Carlos Palacios; Desarrollo e Inclusión Social, Dina Boluarte, y de Cultura, Alejandro Salas, así como del viceministro de Transporte del MTC, Víctor Alejos. También asistieron los congresistas de la región Katy Ugarte, Ruth Luque, Guido Bellido, y Ángel Aragón.
En otro momento, el titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) enfatizó la necesidad de trabajar para convencer a las personas que aún no se han vacunado contra la COVID-19, dado que dificultarán la apertura de los mercados y en el reinicio de las clases presenciales.
Posteriormente se realizaron mesas técnicas en donde las autoridades abordaron temas vinculados al retorno a clases, la descentralización de sectores como Cultura y de las competencias en el sector Transporte. También trataron el proceso de la masificación del gas natural y la revisión de proyectos vinculados al gas de Camisea, así como la transferencia de los recursos del Hotel Sanctuary Lodge al Gobierno Regional del Cusco, la declaratoria de peligro inminente en el distrito de Machu Picchu y el financiamiento del proyecto de defensa ribereña del río Alccamayo.
La jornada contó con la participación del viceministro de Gobernanta Territorial de la PCM, Jesús Quispe, y del secretario de Descentralización, Yuri Chessman, quienes hicieron seguimiento a los acuerdos alcanzados en la reunión.
