Durante la agenda de trabajo que cumplió en el distrito de Mala, en la provincia de Cañete, al sur de Lima, el jefe de Estado atendió el llamado de los padres de la menor, Walter Delgado Condorachay y Jenny Rosas Saavedra, y dispuso de manera inmediata el traslado de la familia a Lima en un helicóptero del Ejército.
Ya en la ciudad capital, los padres y la bebé fueron trasladados en una ambulancia del Servicio de Atención Móvil de Urgencia (SAMU), que partió desde Palacio de Gobierno con destino al Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño ubicado en la Avenida Brasil en el distrito de Breña.
La menor presenta un cuadro de hipotonía muscular, paladar hendido y malformaciones congénitas, de acuerdo con lo señalado por su madre; de otro lado según informaron voceros de dicho nosocomio al cierre de la presente nota, galenos especialistas del Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño, vienen realizando diversos exámenes para someter a la joven pacientes a operaciones especializadas y tratamientos de rehabilitaciones eficaces con el fin de lograr optimizar su salud.
