En esa línea, el jefe de Estado instó a las fuerzas políticas e instituciones y gremios del país, así como a las organizaciones de la sociedad civil a abordar este tema que es estructural.
“Si no educamos a nuestra población otro será el destino. Y no vamos a esperar doscientos años más de olvido. Tenemos que sentar las bases de una educación de cara a tener ciudadanos íntegros, libres, honestos”, enfatizó durante la ceremonia del inicio del Año Escolar 2022 en la Institución Educativa Inicial 527 Niño Jesús de Praga, ubicada en el distrito de Pachacámac.
“Hay que entender que la educación es una tarea fundamental, una obligación del Estado, no puede ser política de gobierno, tiene que ser una política de Estado. En ese marco, debemos ver que el niño esté sano, alimentado, llegue seguro y puntual a la institución educativa”, remarcó.
Asimismo, indicó que el Gabinete Ministerial tiene listo el proyecto de ley referido al acceso libre a las universidades del país.
Con relación al inicio de las clases presenciales, señaló que se trata de una tarea y responsabilidad asumidas por su gobierno y, en ese sentido, recordó que el lunes pasado más del 60 por ciento de la población escolar, en 19 regiones del país, ya regresó a las aulas de colegios públicos.
“Y el 28 de marzo vamos a cumplir con el retorno a las escuelas al cien por ciento”, subrayó y destacó que con ello se habrá concretado el compromiso asumido con el pueblo: garantizar el regreso a la presencialidad.
“Este es el resultado de un trabajo y un esfuerzo conjunto, para que nuestros hijos sean ciudadanos de bien”, recalcó tras enfatizar que ningún sector puede estar aislado del sector Educación. “Todos los ministerios tienen que sumar, los tres niveles de gobierno también”, anotó.
En otro momento, el presidente Castillo sostuvo que su gestión no puede distraerse en agendas ajenas al país cuando está dando los mayores esfuerzos por sectores como la educación y la salud.
“Cuando estamos destinando esfuerzo y el presupuesto para la educación, otros responden con otros términos en la calle, en lugares aislados, y siguen con su agenda ajena al país”, advirtió y precisó que desde el Gobierno la atención también se centra en acciones como la vacunación de los peruanos contra la COVID-19, para dar mayor tranquilidad y seguridad a la población. “Eso tenemos que seguir impulsando”, apuntó.
ENCUENTRO CON LA POBLACIÓN
El mandatario también llegó a la Institución Educativa Inicial 197 Niño Jesús de Praga, ubicada en el distrito de Lurigancho Chosica, con el objetivo de inspeccionar sus instalaciones.
Luego sostuvo un encuentro con pobladores de la zona Casa Huerta La Campiña, en el distrito citado, durante el cual remarcó que “seguiremos caminando juntamente con el pueblo para ver el desarrollo del país”.
“Quienes venimos de abajo y hemos sufrido hambre y sed, sabemos cómo está el país y a qué hemos venido”, manifestó y aseguró a los moradores que su gobierno sigue trabajando para cubrir las necesidades de agua, desagüe, pistas y veredas de la población.
“El agua tiene que ser un derecho constitucional del pueblo. Cuando hacemos las cosas bien, y las vamos a hacer sin robar, otros piden otra cosa. El Perú necesita ser atendido”, enfatizó.
“Mientras yo hablo de agua, desagüe, pistas y veredas, de atención a la salud y de mejorar las carreteras, otros nos preguntan ‘usted irá el 28 (de marzo) al Congreso’. Yo tengo que ir adonde me citen. Si me citan a la punta del cerro, por fajarme por este país a la punta del cerro iré, si me citan a cualquier región del país, tendré que ir, porque no he venido a robar un centavo al país”, puntualizó.
