El embajador de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, Alexander Gabriel Yánez Deleuze, fue el primero en presentar sus cartas credenciales al jefe de Estado. Luego hizo lo propio el embajador de la República Federativa de Brasil, Sérgio França Danese.

A continuación, correspondió el turno del embajador de la República Portuguesa, Joaquim Alberto de Sousa Moreira de Lemos y, finalmente, la embajadora de Australia, Maree Misao Ringland, presentó sus cartas credenciales al mandatario.

Los cuatro nuevos embajadores transmitieron al jefe de Estado el saludo fraterno de sus pueblos y de sus respectivos gobiernos.

La ceremonia se realizó esta tarde y contó con la presencia del ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, César Landa.

Posteriormente, el presidente Castillo recibió, en audiencia de estilo, a cada uno de los nuevos Embajadores.
