En el marco de las políticas de igualdad de género y atención a las poblaciones vulnerables del Gobierno, se acordó un cronograma de trabajo con las organizaciones de mujeres campesinas e indígenas para el fortalecimiento de estrategias, entre ellas la denominada “Mujer Rural”.

Esto permitirá generar espacios de diálogo, brindar asistencia técnica y apoyar a las organizaciones de mujeres para acceder a la subvención económica que les permitirá financiar sus planes de negocio y promover el empoderamiento de las mujeres rurales en nuestro país.

Para ello, el Gobierno ha asignado un presupuesto de 30 millones de soles que permitirá financiar emprendimientos de la mujer rural, así como asesorías técnicas en materia agrícola, forestal, pecuaria y artesanal, en el marco de la implementación de la Segunda Reforma Agraria.

En la reunión, también se expusieron las principales demandas de las organizaciones de mujeres, la forma en que se debe avanzar por la equidad e igualdad de oportunidades entre el hombre y la mujer, así como tener una visión intercultural en el trabajo que se hará con la mujer rural e indígena.

La estrategia beneficiará a las organizaciones de mujeres rurales e indígenas con negocios rurales que se organizan en grupos de emprendimiento/asociaciones productivas, a las que pertenecen 5023 mujeres emprendedoras.

En cuanto al tiempo en el que se desarrollará la estrategia, se tiene previsto que la ejecución de este apoyo y acompañamiento vaya de julio a diciembre de 2022.

Durante el lanzamiento de la II Reforma Agraria, en octubre de 2021, el presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo, dio a conocer la creación de un fondo especial en apoyo directo a la mujer productora agraria, que hoy se hace realidad a través de esta partida presupuestal.

Participaron representantes de organizaciones como la Federación Nacional de Mujeres Campesinas, Artesanas, Indígenas, Nativas y Asalariadas del Perú (FENMUCARINAP), la Confederación Nacional Agraria, la Confederación Campesina del Perú, la Red Nacional de Mujeres, la Asociación Interétnica de Desarrollo de la Selva Peruana (AIDESEP).

También asistieron la Organización Nacional de Mujeres Indígenas Andinas y Amazónicas del Perú (ONAMIAP), la Central Única Nacional de Rondas Campesinas del Perú (CUNARC), la Convención Nacional del Agro Peruano (Conveagro), la Confederación Nacional de Mujeres Patriotas (CONAMP), así como funcionarios de Midagri, Agroideas y de la PCM.

To this end, the Government has allocated a budget of 30 million soles that will allow financing rural women’s enterprises, as well as technical advice on agricultural, forestry, livestock and artisanal matters, within the framework of the implementation of the Second Agrarian Reform.

At the meeting, the main demands of women’s organizations were also presented, the way in which equity and equal opportunities between men and women should be advanced, as well as having an intercultural vision in the work that will be done with rural and indigenous women.

The strategy will benefit rural and indigenous women’s organizations with rural businesses that are organized into entrepreneurship groups/productive associations, to which 5,023 women entrepreneurs belong.

Regarding the time in which the strategy will be developed, it is planned that the execution of this support and accompaniment will go from July to December 2022.

During the launch of the II Agrarian Reform, in October 2021, the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, announced the creation of a special fund in direct support of women agricultural producers, which today becomes a reality through this budget item.
