En ese contexto, el mandatario mostró su preocupación por la alta migración de ciudadanos venezolanos que actualmente hay en el país al mencionar, que son alrededor de un millón 600 mil. Pidió evaluar la situación migratoria de aquellos que delinquen para tomar las medidas correctivas que correspondan.
En otro momento, convocó a los gobernadores regionales, alcaldes, instituciones y sociedad civil a trabajar juntos en la lucha contra la inseguridad ciudadana que permita dar tranquilidad a la población.
Destacó la importancia del CONASEC para mejorar las condiciones de vida de todos los peruanos. ”Trabajemos en conjunto para dar la respuesta que el país necesita”, subrayó.
Instó a los miembros de dicho consejo para que las próximas sesiones se realicen también en el interior del país y con mayor frecuencia.
En dicha reunión participaron, además del mandatario, el presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Aníbal Torres, el ministro del Interior, Dimitri Senmache Artola; el ministro de Justicia, Félix Chero Medina; la ministra de la Mujer y Poblaciones Vulnerables, Diana Miloslavich Túpac; el ministro de Transportes y Comunicaciones, Juan Mauro Barrenzuela Quiroga; el ministro de Comercio Exterior y Turismo, Roberto Sánchez Palomino y el titular del sector Defensa, José Luis Gavidia Arrascue.
También, representantes de la Corte Superior de Justicia de La Libertad y la Secretaria Técnica del CONASEC.
