“Desde hoy, los ministros de Defensa y del Interior van a intensificar sus actividades coordinadas para que la declaratoria de emergencia sea una realidad y permita combatir el delito a fondo. Tenemos que asegurar la seguridad ciudadana porque sin ella no se desarrolla ninguna otra actividad. Con la delincuencia no podemos tener contemplaciones”, manifestó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial tras sesión del Consejo de Ministros.

El titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) enfatizó que la lucha contra la inseguridad ciudadana también compete a los gobiernos regionales y locales. En ese sentido, anunció que se está trabajando para articular la labor que realiza el serenazgo con la Policía Nacional del Perú (PNP).

“Para combatir la delincuencia vamos a adoptar todas las medidas que están a nuestra disposición, entre ellas, fomentar la participación de la ciudadanía a través de las juntas vecinales, con la cooperación y asistencia del Ministerio del Interior”, acotó.

De otro lado, manifestó que en el Consejo de Ministros también se debatió acerca de la sobrepoblación de internos en los establecimientos penitenciarios a nivel nacional. “Ante ello, se están adoptando medidas, como beneficios penitenciarios para los reos que no hayan cometido delitos graves o muy graves; por ejemplo, los detenidos por inasistencia familiar”, dijo.

Asimismo, comentó que el Ejecutivo insistirá en la educación de los internos, ya que la Constitución establece que el trabajo es un derecho y un deber, estamos evaluando un proyecto de ley para que todo interno trabaje”, señaló.

PERÚ NO SUFRIRÁ DE CRISIS ALIMENTARIA
El jefe del Gabinete Ministerial aseguró que desde el Ejecutivo se trabaja para garantizar la seguridad alimentaria del país, y destacó que ya existe un presupuesto aprobado de más de 300 millones de soles para adquirir urea que se distribuirá entre los agricultores.

“El Perú no va a sufrir la inseguridad alimentaria porque vamos a tomar todas las medidas que se requieran para evitar que ello ocurra. No nos faltará qué comer”, aseguró Torres Vásquez, quien anunció que se desarrollará un Consejo de Ministros dedicado exclusivamente para abordar la crisis alimentaria mundial.

SIMULACRO NACIONAL MULTIGRADO
El titular de la PCM también informó que en el Consejo de Ministros se acordó la realización de un simulacro nacional multigrado para el 31 de mayo a las 10 de la mañana, y señaló que posteriormente se llevará a cabo una sesión del Consejo Nacional de Gestión de Riesgo de Desastres (Conagerd) para evaluar la jornada.

Al respecto, el ministro de Defensa, José Gavidia, exhortó a todas las instituciones públicas y privadas a participar del simulacro, y precisó que en el caso de Lima Metropolitana el epicentro del sismo será en Chorrillos, frente a la playa Agua Dulce.

“Realizaremos trabajos con diferentes actores como Defensa Civil, las Fuerzas Armadas, el cuerpo general de bomberos y el Ministerio de Educación. Pedimos a todos los peruanos que participen con mucha seriedad de este simulacro porque es la única forma en que podremos salvar una vida en caso de un sismo o desastre natural”, añadió.

En el caso de Lima, el simulacro se realizará frente a la playa de Agua Dulce, donde se efectuará una serie de trabajos por sectores, de la mano con Defensa Civil, las Fuerzas Armadas (FFAA), Compañía de Bomberos, Ministerio de Educación (Minedu). En ese sentido, exhortó a la población a participar con seriedad del simulacro, pues debemos saber actuar frente a un desastre.

GOBIERNO COMPROMETIDO CON EL SECTOR TEXTIL
Por su parte, el titular del Ministerio de Producción (Produce), Jorge Luis Prado, informó sobre las diversas acciones que despliega su sector para fortalecer el sector textil. Al respecto, indicó que se ha emitido un decreto de urgencia para la creación del Fondo de Auxilio Económico (FAE) Textil y de Confecciones, por un monto de 800 millones de soles, a fin de flexibilizar el acceso a financiamiento de los microempresarios de Gamarra.

“Otra medida es la propuesta de modificación del decreto legislativo N° 1414 que autoriza a Produce a conformar núcleos ejecutores de compra, para promover y facilitar el acceso a micro y pequeñas empresas a las compras públicas. Asimismo, se han implementado seis ferias adicionales para empresarios de Gamarra a través del programa nacional Tu Empresa que les permita exponer sus productos a nivel nacional”, dijo.

Prado explicó que, adicionalmente, se ha creado el Centro de Innovación Productiva y Transferencia Tecnológica, con una unidad técnica de confecciones a través del Instituto Tecnológico de la Producción, destinado a fortalecer este sector.

Finalmente, el ministro de Educación, Rosendo Serna informó que en el Consejo de Ministros se aprobó el proyecto de ley referido a la conversión de plazas eventuales, que tiene el sector desde el 2014, en plazas orgánicas que permitan la reasignación de docentes, auxiliares y personal administrativo. “Esta medida permitirá dar tranquilidad a los trabajadores”, añadió.
