Así lo informó César Sahuanay Calsín, presidente de la Corte Superior Nacional de Justicia Penal Especializada, en el marco de la ceremonia del primer aniversario de la culminación de la implementación del CPP en el referido órgano jurisdiccional de alcance nacional.
El magistrado precisó que entre el 2014 y el 2021, los órganos jurisdiccionales emitieron 485 sentencias: en el 2021 (98), en 2020 (52), en 2019 (76), en 2018 (114), en 2017 (60), y en los anteriores años cifras similares.
La presidenta del Poder Judicial, Elvia Barrios Alvarado, quien participó en la actividad de manera virtual, señaló que la CSNJPE representa la “culminación de una serie de esfuerzos para dar una respuesta integral a casos complejos de crimen organizado y otros de trascendencia nacional e internacional”.
“Saludo el compromiso de los jueces y juezas como personal jurisdiccional de esta corte por los avances del Código Procesal Penal, que permiten brindar las garantías judiciales en el marco de un Estado Democrático de Derecho”, expresó.
A su vez, el juez superior Guillermo Huamán Vargas, magistrado coordinador de los juzgados penales colegiados de la Corte Superior Nacional refirió: “Hemos liderado el cambio, entre otras instituciones, pongamos más empeño ya no solo para alcanzar los objetivos de los juzgados sino del sistema en general”.

En horas de la mañana, Barrios Alvarado participó en la ceremonia por el primer aniversario de la implementación total del nuevo Código Procesal Penal (CPP) en la Corte Superior de Lima, en la sede ubicada en la avenida Iquitos 198 (La Victoria).
La autoridad comprometió sus esfuerzos para reforzar la aplicación de este cuerpo normativo en el ámbito de la Corte Superior de Lima.
“Tenemos que solucionar diversos problemas que se han presentado durante este primer año de funcionamiento, por eso tomaremos algunas medidas y haremos lo necesario para su buena marcha”, indicó.
La autoridad judicial instó a los jueces y juezas a realizar una reflexión sobre su rol. “Debemos afirmar también la vocación de servicio que tenemos, pero siempre debemos actuar con independencia, imparcialidad y mirando el efecto de nuestras decisiones judiciales”, añadió.
Por su parte, el presidente de la Corte Superior de Lima, José Díaz Vallejos, sostuvo que el nuevo modelo procesal está diseñado para reducir los tiempos, pues permite procedimientos más ágiles.
“En suma el nuevo modelo permite desarrollar procesos penales transparentes y oportunos en los que los derechos de las partes procesales se encuentran garantizados”, enfatizó el magistrado.
En la actividad participaron también los integrantes del Consejo Ejecutivo del Poder Judicial, Héctor Lama More y Vicente Espinoza Santillán; la jueza del Módulo Penal del Código Procesal Penal de Lima, Ingrid Morales Deza, jueces y juezas, servidores/as judiciales y funcionarios de la institución.

For his part, the president of the Superior Court of Lima, José Díaz Vallejos, maintained that the new procedural model is designed to reduce time, since it allows for more agile procedures.
“In sum, the new model allows for the development of transparent and timely criminal proceedings in which the rights of the procedural parties are guaranteed,” the magistrate emphasized.
