“Seguiremos firmes compañeros, así como ustedes siguen firmes trabajando en la chacra”, apuntó tras precisar que el Estado llegará hasta el último rincón del país con presupuesto para la ejecución de obras en el sector agrario”, manifestó desde el distrito de Coporaque, provincia de Caylloma.

“Hemos venido a trabajar y dar resultados, para eso nos han elegido, estamos firmes en no desviar nuestra atención de los principales ejes de la Política General de Gobierno, donde tenemos como prioridad la generación de bienestar con seguridad alimentaria, la reactivación económica y las actividades productivas con desarrollo agrario rural”, indicó.

El mandatario participó hoy en la ceremonia de colocación de la primera piedra de la obra de “Mejoramiento de la recarga del servicio hídrico y aprovechamiento de agua de lluvia”, en la provincia de Caylloma, que beneficiará a 14 regiones y 90 mil familias de agricultores.

Precisó que esta obra, que será ejecutada por el Ministerio de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego, mejorará la capacidad de almacenamiento y retención del agua de lluvia para el uso agrario, mediante el servicio de siembra y cosecha de agua.

En ese marco, refirió que los grandes proyectos de riego como Majes Siguas, Chavimochic y Olmos se tienen que realizar siempre con el pueblo y sin darle la espalda a la población y a las comunidades. “Tenemos que sentarnos a conversar, no se puede resolver si miramos de un solo lado”, refirió.

Sobre las medidas que adoptó su gobierno para impulsar el agro, el mandatario señaló que se ha declarado en emergencia el sector agrario y riego, se ha concretado la compra de fertilizantes y en octubre del año pasado se lanzó la Segunda Reforma Agraria, que significa la inclusión social de más de dos millones de pequeños agricultores de la agricultura familiar.

“Nunca más un agricultor debe ser olvidado, vengo de una familia del campo, por eso este Gobierno del Pueblo sabe lo que significa el trabajo del hermano agricultor y le dará el mayor valor y apoyo que corresponde, porque son ustedes los primeros productores de alimentos”, concluyó.
