El objetivo de este encuentro es trabajar en la priorización de la agenda de desarrollo territorial del departamento, para el cierre de brechas a favor de la población.

De acuerdo con el programa del evento, que se realizará en el Coliseo de Arequipa, las palabras iniciales estarán a cargo del alcalde de la Municipalidad Provincial de Arequipa, Omar Candia, quien dará paso a la intervención de la gobernadora regional de Arequipa, Kimmerlee Keily Gutiérrez Canahuire. Luego, será el turno de la vicepresidenta Dina Boluarte y del jefe del Gabinete Ministerial, Aníbal Torres.

Seguidamente, se iniciará el diálogo sobre la agenda de desarrollo territorial de Arequipa, con la participación de los congresistas de la República, así como los alcaldes de la provincia de Arequipa, Omar Candia; de Caravelí, Diego Montesinos; de Castilla, Héctor Cáceres; y de Camaná, Marcelo Valdivia.

Asimismo, tomarán la palabra los alcaldes de la provincia de Condesuyos, Miguel Ángel Manchego; de Islay, Edgar Rivera; de La Unión, Jorge Luis Velásquez; de Caylloma, Álvaro Cáceres Llica. Enseguida, la gobernadora regional dará paso a las participaciones de los representantes de la sociedad civil.

En el siguiente bloque de la actividad los ministros de Estado harán los informes correspondientes a sus sectores. Finalmente, el presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Aníbal Torres, se dirigirá a los presentes. Las palabras de clausura estarán a cargo el presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo.

Cabe indicar que, previamente, en la víspera se desarrollaron las reuniones técnicas preparatorias por parte de los sectores a los requerimientos prioritarios de los gobiernos locales a fin de contribuir a destrabar los aspectos que dificultan la gestión del desarrollo del territorio.
