“Es importante que hagamos un trabajo conjunto, cohesionado entre todos los niveles de gobierno para hacer una sola fuerza porque al laborar por las ollas comunes estamos trabajando por los que más necesitan. Las municipalidades serán los grandes aliados, hagámoslo con transparencia, oportunamente, con eficiencia y escuchando a nuestras dirigentes, priorizando el bienestar de nuestros ciudadanos. Ese trabajo hay que coordinarlo ya”, apuntó.

Ante centenares de madres de familia de las ollas comunes reunidas en el distrito de Comas, el mandatario dijo que su gobierno destinó el mayor presupuesto para todas las ollas comunes, recursos que servirán para que el Programa Nacional de Alimentación Escolar Qali Warma, se encargue de la adquisición de alimentos, los mismos que serán distribuidos por las municipalidades.

Destacó que las ollas comunes, conformadas en su mayoría por madres y mujeres valientes, han alimentado a miles de familias en todo el territorio nacional. “Lo han hecho con mucho esfuerzo y con los pocos recursos que tenían, en un escenario muy crítico a nivel nacional debido a la pandemia de la Covid-19”, refirió.

“Después de haber promulgado la Ley que reconoce a las ollas comunes como las organizaciones sociales de base, hemos asignado al MIDIS más de 96 millones de soles para la adquisición de alimentos en favor de las ollas comunes del país”, afirmó.

En otro momento, el mandatario saludó la presencia de parlamentarios durante la ceremonia de presentación del decreto de urgencia que garantiza esta transferencia, y llamó a trabajar juntos a quienes “todavía piensan que la política se crea para otros intereses, cuando el único interés debe ser el Perú”.

“No estoy entretenido en dimes y diretes, para eso no hemos sido elegidos; hemos sido elegidos para atender a las personas vulnerables, a los jóvenes, a los niños. Nada impedirá que sigamos impulsando la agenda social, junto a ustedes estamos comprometidos en construir un país más justo, que tenga agua, vivienda, ingreso libre a las universidades, que recupere sus recursos como el gas”, manifestó.

Precisó también que la seguridad alimentaria que impulsa su gobierno va de la mano con la Segunda Reforma Agraria, por lo que reiteró que están garantizados los fertilizantes para el inicio de la siembra de los agricultores.

He stressed that the common pots, made up mostly of brave mothers and women, have fed thousands of families throughout the national territory. “They have done it with a lot of effort and with the few resources they had, in a very critical scenario at the national level due to the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said.

“After having enacted the law that recognizes the common pots as grassroots social organizations, we have assigned MIDIS more than 96 million soles for the purchase of food in favor of the country’s common pots,” he said.

At another time, the president welcomed the presence of parliamentarians during the presentation ceremony of the emergency decree that guarantees this transfer, and called for those who “still think that politics is created for other interests, when the only interest should be Peru”.

“I am not entertained in bickering, for that we have not been chosen; we have been chosen to care for vulnerable people, young people, children. Nothing will prevent us from continuing to promote the social agenda, together with you we are committed to building a fairer country, one that has water, housing, free admission to universities, that recovers its resources such as gas”, he said.

He also specified that the food security promoted by his government goes hand in hand with the Second Agrarian Reform, for which he reiterated that fertilizers are guaranteed for farmers to start planting.
