Presididas por el Canciller del Perú, Cesar Landa, la Alta Comisionada ONU para Derechos Humanos, Michelle Bachelet, sostuvo en Palacio de Gobierno reuniones de trabajo temáticas con Ministros de Estado para abordar relevancia de los derechos humanos en dichos sectores.

La primera reunión temática contó con la participación del Ministro del Interior, Mariano González y la Ministra de Energía y Minas, Alessandra Herrera. Se centró en temas de desarrollo, seguridad, minería y responsabilidad social y derechos humanos

La segunda involucró a Vicepresidenta y Ministra de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social, Dina Boluarte, la Ministra de la Mujer y Poblaciones Vulnerables, Diana Miloslavich, y el Ministro de Cultura, Alejandro Salas. Se enfocó en mujeres, personas vulnerables, racismo y discriminación.

Michelle Bachelet llegó a nuestro país para evaluar la situación de los derechos humanos en Perú, por su parte la oficina de la Alta Comisionada de las Naciones Unidas para los Derechos Humanos, señaló que el inicio de esta visita oficial al gobierno de la nación Inca comprende desde el 19 al 20 de julio del año en curso, en donde se realizarán reuniones con altos funcionarios, la sociedad civil, pueblos indígenas, defensores de los derechos humanos, representantes del sector privado y miembros de la comunidad internacional.

ENCUENTRO CON IDESEP
Luego de la reunión sostenida en Palacio de Gobierno con el mandatario peruano Pedro Castillo Terrones, la Alta Comisionada de las Naciones Unidas para los Derechos Humanos, Michelle Bachelet, sostuvo un encuentro con una delegación de la Asociación Interétnica de Desarrollo de la Selva Peruana IDESEP, en la misma se discutió las diversas problemáticas que enfrentan los pueblos indígenas de la Amazonía para lograr mejores oportunidades de desarrollo, acceso a una mejor calidad de vida, y un pleno estado de derecho y de respeto hacía sus tradiciones y creencias, entre otros.

REUNIÓN CON EM MIMP
De otro lado la Alta Comisionada de las Naciones Unidas para los Derechos Humanos, Michelle Bachelet, mantuvo una importante reunión de trabajo con el Ministerio de la Mujer y Poblaciones Vulnerables, en donde la titular de este portafolio ministerial (MIMP) Diana Miloslavich Túpac, le reiteró a Michelle Bachelet, toda la voluntad del gobierno y de su cartera ministerial, de garantizar el nombre y los derechos de las mujeres, niñas, niños y adolescentes, adultos/as mayores y personas con discapacidad.
