En la sesión plenaria el congresista Alejandro Soto Reyes, vocero de la bancada de Alianza Para el Progreso (APP), señaló que debe responder a las cuatro investigaciones fiscales que persiguen al mencionado funcionario, entre ellas pertenecer a una presunta red criminal dentro del Ministerio de Vivienda.

La bancada APP votó en bloque a favor de la moción de censura contra Geiner Alvarado, como lo anunció días previos el vocero de APP, Soto Reyes. El presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo tiene un plazo de 72 horas para aceptar la dimisión y conocer al que lo reemplazará en la cartera de Transportes.

“Son 520 millones de soles que se han dispuesto a través de un Decreto de Urgencia a un determinado sector del país, soslayando de otras regiones”, expresó el congresista, representante del Cusco.

Soto también se mostró a favor de la censura al ministro del Interior Willy Huerta y dijo que será consultado con los demás integrantes de la bancada APP.

Sostuvo que el presidente Castillo ha aceptado venir al Congreso el próximo viernes para conversar con el titular del Legislativo, Williams Zapata y pidió que en esa reunión se elabore una agenda país.
