Avance del proceso nacional de transformación digital ha permitido impulsar la reactivación económica luego de la pandemia de la Covid-19 y acelerar el comercio electrónico, sostuvo meridianamente en la víspera.

“Nos sentimos muy orgullosos y recibimos con mucha humildad, y compromiso la gran tarea de ejercer el rol de País Presidente de la Red Interamericana de Gobierno Electrónico 2023”, resaltó el jefe del gabinete ministerial durante la clausura de la VII Cumbre Ministerial de Gobierno y Transformación Digital de las Américas.

Será un honor para nosotros seguir realizando todos los esfuerzos necesarios, a través de la Secretaría de Gobierno y Transformación Digital de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM), para fortalecer la Cooperación Internacional y avanzar en la Agenda Digital para las Américas, puntualizó.

Manifestó que el avance del proceso nacional de transformación digital ha permitido impulsar la reactivación económica luego de la pandemia de la Covid-19, acelerar el comercio electrónico en favor de las familias peruanas y digitalizar los comercios de mayor demanda con billeteras digitales.

“La trascendencia y el impacto del mundo digital en la vida de las personas permiten que eventos como esta VII Cumbre Ministerial de Gobierno y Transformación Digital de las Américas tengan una repercusión directa en nuestro pueblo, pues las conclusiones a las que se han arribado en estos días se verán reflejadas en la puesta en marcha de políticas públicas, plataformas o servicios digitales para impulsar el bienestar y el desarrollo social”, dijo Torres.

Asimismo, el jefe de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) indicó que, a la fecha, más de 9,000 puestos de mercados a nivel nacional comenzaron a utilizar billeteras digitales logrando transacciones comerciales por un monto superior a los 165 millones de soles.

“Todo ello, en beneficio de miles de familias que se vieron afectadas por la crisis sanitaria y siempre con el apoyo del sector privado y la cooperación internacional. También, hemos venido dando pasos importantes frente a los riesgos digitales que se hacen cada vez más complejos”, refirió.

Agregó que desde la PCM se ha venido impulsando el trabajo de la Secretaría de Gobierno y Transformación Digital, promoviendo el fortalecimiento del Centro Nacional de Seguridad Digital, creando la Unidad Funcional de Confianza Digital y conformando mesas técnicas de trabajo con el sector privado para mitigar el impacto de la Ciber-Delincuencia en el país.

De igual manera, realizamos con éxito el I Simulacro Nacional de Ciber-Ataques en el Sector Público que se replicó en todo el país, y nos permitió evaluar las necesidades de infraestructura y capacitación para mejorar la seguridad digital de las entidades públicas, añadió.

“La transformación digital es un compromiso de nuestra Política General de Gobierno que se reafirma con la próxima publicación de la Política Nacional de Transformación Digital anunciada por el presidente de la República Pedro Castillo”, comentó.

El premier explicó que, en esa línea, el Perú ha venido avanzando en los indicadores internacionales de digitalización y con la implementación de plataformas e infraestructuras que hagan posible la digitalización del país.

En ese sentido mencionó que el país ha invertido en la implementación de la Plataforma Nacional de Gobierno Digital que tiene como principal objetivo habilitar servicios digitales de alta demanda, desplegando la infraestructura necesaria para garantizar la disponibilidad e interacción de los servicios y plataformas públicas.

En este marco, dijo, hay que remarcar el valioso aporte que presta la cooperación internacional para el desarrollo de los procesos de transformación digital en el Perú, principalmente al Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), a la Organización de los Estados Americanos (OEA) y a la Cooperación Coreana.

Torres Vásquez manifestó que en estos dos días de la Cumbre se ha fortalecido nuestro propósito de avanzar en la Agenda Digital Internacional vinculando el cumplimiento de las expectativas de nuestros compatriotas, principalmente de aquellos que se encuentran en las zonas más recónditas de nuestro país.

Por ejemplo, el gobierno del presidente Pedro Castillo, acaba de gestionar la implementación de seis toneladas de banda de internet satelital valorizado en 1 millón de soles para 14 localidades más vulnerables de la provincia de Purús, región de Ucayali, siendo este territorio unas de las zonas más alejadas de nuestra patria, que limita con el país hermano de Brasil; este servicio beneficiará a más de 4 mil habitantes, entre ellos nuestras comunidades nativas.

“Pero a pesar de ello, somos conscientes que aún hay mucho por hacer para cerrar la enorme brecha digital que tenemos. Por ello, estamos evaluando implementar un Proyecto de Inversión Pública para impulsar la Transformación Digital con Equidad”, finalizó.

In this framework, he said, it is necessary to highlight the valuable contribution provided by international cooperation for the development of digital transformation processes in Peru, mainly to the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), to the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Korean Cooperation.

Torres Vásquez stated that these two days of the Summit have strengthened our purpose of advancing the International Digital Agenda, linking the fulfillment of the expectations of our compatriots, mainly those who are in the most remote areas of our country.

For example, the government of President Pedro Castillo has just managed the implementation of six tons of satellite internet band valued at 1 million soles for 14 most vulnerable localities in the province of Purús, Ucayali region, this territory being one of the remote areas of our country, which borders the sister country of Brazil; This service will benefit more than 4,000 inhabitants, including our native communities.
