Cabe recalcar que la empresa constructora viene realizando trabajos nocturnos con el fin de culminar el último tramo restante el cual conectaría las redes de desagüe a la cámara de bombeo.

De otro lado, voceros de la referida empresa, indicaron que en los días que vendrán se iniciarán los trabajos de limpieza de los desmontes que se encuentra a lo largo de la obra, lo cual permitirá una mejor transitabilidad y ornato en dicha zona.

El burgomaestre tumbesino, que cariñosamente se ha ganado el titulo del “Alcalde que no duerme ni descansa” Dr. Jimy Silva Mena, sostuvo meridianamente a los medios de comunicación: “Yo continuaré supervisando los trabajos para garantizar el cumplimiento de los plazos y dentro de lo que nos permite la misma, concluir en que lo más pronto posible, estar entregando esta obra que se a esperado por muchos años y que beneficiará a toda la población tumbesina”, puntualizó.

SERVICIO DE AGUA Y ALCANTARILLADO PARA VECINOS DE TUMBES
Tal como lo ofrecí desde el inicio de mi gestión edil, y fiel al compromiso de darle a los vecinos de Tumbes mejor calidad de vida vengo junto a los regidores y funcionarios municipales, a colocar la primera piedra de lo que será el mejoramiento y ampliación del servicio agua y alcantarillado del AA.HH Ciudad Satélite en el distrito de La Cruz, indicó el alcalde provincial de Tumbes Dr. Jimy Silva Mena.

Por su parte la población agradeció al alcalde Silva Mena, el inicio de esta obra, que por más de dos décadas han esperado en constante lucha por contar con el servicio de agua y desagüe, los vecinos emocionados señalaron, “Tanto hemos luchado, sin que nadie hasta el día de hoy nos escuche”; en otro momento los vecinos de esta parte del país, detallaron que durante años ninguna autoridad les hizo caso y en esta gestión 2019-2022 se está haciendo realidad el sueño de todos los moradores de este importante asentamiento humano, revelaron.

De otro lado el alcalde tumbesino, Jimy Silva Mena, detalló que esta obra cuenta con un presupuesto de S/ 2´656,565.75 y tiene un plazo de ejecución de 120 días calendarios; así mismo durante su discurso a la población indicó en tono prístino que toda persona tiene derecho a gozar de una vida digna y no hay nada más importante que todas las familias puedan contar con agua y desagüe en sus viviendas, sostuvo.

RECONOCIMIENTO A ENTES PÚBLICOS INTEGRANTES DEL COMITÉ TÉCNICO DE SEGURIDAD ALIMENTARIA.
En actividad oficial del gobierno edil de Tumbes, se realizó el reconocimiento a las instituciones públicas que formaron parte del comité técnico de seguridad alimentaria el mismo que tuvo la responsabilidad de promover la competitividad de los alimentos a partir de los productos locales de la agricultura familiar sustentable de la región de Tumbes.

Como se sabe los entes que conforman dicho comité, son la municipalidad provincial de Tumbes a través de la gerencia de desarrollo económico, liderada por la Arq. Selene Mendoza, así mismo por la gerencia de inclusión social, liderada por el Médico Carlos Feijoo, también por la dirección regional sectorial de agricultura, dirección regional sectorial de producción, dirección regional de salud Tumbes y el proyecto especial binacional Puyango Tumbes; esta ceremonia se realizó en las instalaciones del auditorio Javier Pérez de Cuellar de la corporación municipal de Tumbes.

Del mismo modo se otorgó un merecido reconocimiento a las instituciones veedoras como son, la unidad territorial del PNAE Qali Warma Tumbes, representada por el Sr. Claudio Ecca Canales, a la dirección ejecutiva Tumbes de SENASA y a la dirección regional de educación Tumbes.

De igual forma, estuvieron presentes la asociación de productores de limón del distrito de San Jacinto representados por el agricultor Manuel Villegas Pardo a quien también se le dio un reconocimiento; quienes agradecieron al alcalde de Tumbes, Dr. Jimy Silva Mena y a la Arq. Selene Mendoza por todo el apoyo brindado a los agricultores con los programas municipales como PROCOMPITE y HAMBRE CERO de los cuales se han visto beneficiados.

Durante sus intervenciones, los titulares de las respectivas instituciones presentes coincidieron en que es la primera gestión municipal que ha trabajado tanto por la agricultura de que se tenga conocimiento; del mismo modo señalaron abrigar las esperanzas, de que con las nuevas autoridades electas se continúen por la misma senda del desarrollo, recalcaron.

A su turno el Dr, Jimy Silva Mena, reafirmó como alcalde provincial de Tumbes, de trabajar hasta el último día de mi gestión, y que luego de la misma, también del lugar donde me encuentre seguiré siempre buscando lo mejor para Tumbes y sus ciudadanos, subrayó.

Finalmente, la primera autoridad edil de Tumbes realizó la entrega de constancias al equipo técnico de la gerencia de desarrollo económico que han trabajado al 100% todos los días para que sea posible el éxito de estos proyectos y otorgó un reconocimiento especial a la Arq. Selene Mendoza por ser quien lideró todos estos trabajos y permitió tener resultados positivos y satisfactorios para la población de Tumbes.
