La intervención se ejecutó en salvaguarda de 1120 habitantes del centro poblado El Gallito, en un tramo de 3.2 kilómetros del cauce del dren, donde se había acumulado material excedente como lodo, maleza y desechos.
El Ministerio de Vivienda, a través del Programa Nuestras Ciudades (PNC) retiró un total de 5545 metros cúbicos de material que colmató ambas márgenes del dren, con la ayuda de una excavadora hidráulica.

El Programa Nuestras Ciudades del MVCS cuenta con 17 unidades básicas operativas para brindar atención a todas las regiones del país.
Las intervenciones se realizan a solicitud de las autoridades distritales, provinciales y regionales, para lo cual se suscriben convenios de cooperación interinstitucional.

The intervention was carried out to safeguard 1,120 inhabitants of the El Gallito town center, in a 3.2-kilometer section of the drain channel, where excess material such as mud, brush, and waste had accumulated.
The Ministry of Housing, through the Our Cities Program (PNC), removed a total of 5,545 cubic meters of material that clogged both banks of the drain, with the help of a hydraulic excavator.

The MVCS Our Cities Program has 17 basic operating units to provide care to all regions of the country.
The interventions are carried out at the request of the district, provincial and regional authorities, for which inter-institutional cooperation agreements are signed.
