Las alumnas recibieron sus certificados luego de egresar y aprobar satisfactoriamente los cuatros módulos de formación teórico y práctico en instalaciones eléctricas o albañilería para edificaciones básicas, según la especialidad que escogieron, que ofrece Sencico, entidad adscrita al Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento (MVCS).

Ejemplo a seguir. Verónica Córdova es madre de familia y a sus 52 años se capacitó en albañilería, en la especialidad de enchapado de piso, mayólica, porcelanato y otras superficies, rompiendo así estereotipos por cuanto es un oficio que suelen realizar más los hombres.

“Ya no necesito contratar a un hombre para que haga el empaste o enchapado de los pisos de mi casa. Ahora ese trabajo lo hago yo, gracias a la capacitación recibida en Sencico, con lo cual contribuyo también en la economía del hogar”, expresó.

Junto a Verónica, también recibió su certificado de capacitación Giovanna Meneses, quien ahora se ha convertido en técnica electricista en edificaciones y que gracias a la formación recibida creará su propia empresa.

“Agradezco a Sencico que nos ha permitido no solo capacitarnos, sino también por ayudarnos a cumplir nuestro sueño. Con la formación recibida ahora voy a crear mi propia empresa”, manifestó.

El acto de entrega de certificados fue encabezado por la jefa del Gabinete de Asesores del MVCS, Karla Espinoza Malatesta, quien, en representación de la titular del sector, Hania Pérez de Cuéllar, felicitó a las mujeres capacitadas por su esfuerzo y dedicación que les permite culminar con éxito esta etapa de formación.

Por su parte, el gerente general de Sencico, César Hidalgo Montoya, destacó que en los últimos años su institución capacitó a 30286 mujeres en distintos cursos, actividades de extensión, además de certificar en competencias laborales, lo que muestra importantes avances de la participación femenina en el sector construcción.

CURSOS
De otro lado, Sencico inició hoy el programa “Mujeres en acción”, en el cual se brindan cursos y charlas de capacitación gratuitos a mujeres, con el fin de capacitarlas e incentivar su inserción y participación en el sector.

En esta oportunidad se ofrece los cursos interactivos virtuales de Office aplicado a la construcción; administración de almacén de obras, lectura de planos de estructuras metálicas e higiene y seguridad ocupacional, que tienen una duración entre 24 a 40 horas lectivas, según la temática.

El ciclo de capacitación se imparte en las 21 sedes que tiene Sencico a nivel nacional: Piura, Trujillo, Tacna, Iquitos, Moyobamba, Cajamarca, Lima, Chiclayo, Pucallpa, Huancavelica, Ica, Ayacucho, Arequipa, Moquegua, Puno, Apurímac, Cusco, Madre de Dios, Huancayo, Los Olivos y Chorrillos.

De esta manera, el MVCS, a través de Sencico continúa trabajando para empoderar a las mujeres en el sector construcción, promoviendo y generando herramientas con el objetivo de lograr que se capaciten e inserten en labores y actividades relacionadas a edificaciones de la construcción.
