El inicio del año escolar se posterga hasta el lunes 20 del presente, ello en salvaguarda de la integridad física y emocional de los millones de niños, niñas y adolescentes que estudian en Lima Metropolitana y la región.

La medida es aplicable solo a los estudiantes, no al personal docente ni administrativo.

Las autoridades del sector Educación estarán en permanente evaluación de los locales educativos, en coordinación con las autoridades de Defensa Civil, Municipalidad Metropolitana de Lima y gobiernos locales.

Se recomienda a las IIEE particulares mantenerse vigilantes y adoptar las medidas necesarias para cautelar la integridad de sus estudiantes.

La postergación no rige para el Colegio de Alto Rendimiento (COAR) Lima, el cual deberá actuar de acuerdo a lo dispuesto ante operaciones de emergencia, considerando que los estudiantes ya han iniciado su ingreso a la institución educativa.

En las regiones que no hayan sido afectadas por los fenómenos climatológicos, las actividades educativas se iniciarán este lunes 13 de marzo.
