Ambos representantes del Poder Ejecutivo, acompañados del gobernador regional Jorge Pérez, congresistas y autoridades locales, inspeccionaron las zonas afectadas de Lambayeque, una de las regiones más golpeadas por las precipitaciones pluviales que se incrementaron por la influencia del inusual ciclón Yaku.

Las autoridades realizaron un recorrido por la ciudad de Chiclayo, distrito de José Leonardo Ortiz, cuyas calles y parques quedaron inundados como consecuencia de las intensas lluvias.

La ministra Pérez de Cuéllar informó que en Lambayeque 62 viviendas quedaron afectadas, 3 declaradas inhabitables y una destruida, ante lo cual se viene coordinando con los alcaldes provinciales y distritales el empadronamiento de las familias que han quedado sin vivienda.

Anunció que se entregará un bono de emergencia de S/ 500 a aquellas familias cuyas viviendas fueran declaradas inhabitables o destruidas por las fuertes lluvias.

“Este bono es de 500 soles mensuales hasta por dos años o hasta que se reponga su nueva vivienda. Se activa con el empadronamiento y a partir de ese momento las familias pueden acceder a este subsidio habitacional temporal”, precisó.

Indicó que personal técnico del MVCS recorre desde Tumbes hasta La Libertad para poder cuantificar las viviendas afectadas, apoyar en el empadronamiento y poder activar la ayuda económica de vivienda cuanto antes.

AYUDA HUMANITARIA
La titular del MVCS informó que su sector desplegó equipos entre hidrojets, motobombas y camiones cisternas, a las zonas más críticas para succionar el agua de las viviendas y calles, y su posterior traslado hacia lugares adecuados. Además, se realiza el desatoro de redes de desagüe.

“De acuerdo al reporte del Centro de Operaciones de Emergencia Regional de Lambayeque se requiere de 50 motobombas, pero también de hidrojets, camiones cisternas para atender la emergencia”, apuntó.

En otro momento, la titular del MVCS dijo que el Gobierno despliega acción multisectorial para atender las emergencias y llevar ayuda humanitaria ante el incremento de las lluvias.

“La presidenta de la República, Dina Boluarte, y ministros de Estado han viajado al norte del país para hacer una evaluación y propuestas de atención inmediata en cada una de las regiones afectadas”, refirió.

HUMANITARIAN AID
The head of the MVCS reported that her sector deployed equipment including hydrojets, motor pumps and tank trucks, to the most critical areas to suck water from homes and streets, and its subsequent transfer to suitable places. In addition, the unblocking of drainage networks is carried out.

“According to the report from the Lambayeque Regional Emergency Operations Center, 50 motor pumps are required, but also hydrojets, tankers to attend to the emergency,” he said.
