Así lo reveló el presidente de la Comisión de Presupuesto, José Luna Gálvez, al señalar que del total de su presupuesto de cerca de seis años -10,397 millones de soles- invirtió en la ejecución de proyectos S/ 6,341 millones; es decir, el 60.99% del total.

Pese a ello, dijo, de todo el presupuesto asignado desde el 2017, solo ha usado el 57.3% del total.

El parlamentario recordó que la finalidad de la creación de la ARCC fue la de restituir toda la infraestructura física dañada y destruida por el Fenómeno de El Niño Costero y levantar obras que sirvan para mitigar el impacto de posteriores fenómenos naturales.

“Hoy que vemos el sufrimiento de nuestros hermanos del norte del país cabe preguntarse qué han hecho hasta ahora, tras cerca de seis años de su creación. Vemos al pueblo de Piura, de Tumbes, de Lambayeque, de La Libertad, una vez más sufriendo la pérdida de sus casas, sus bienes, y sus vidas amenazadas por las lluvias, deslizamiento y los huaicos, mientras esta institución despilfarra más de 4 mil millones en personal y bienes. Esto es inaceptable”, señaló Luna Gálvez.

Ante ello, el congresista de Podemos Perú informó que se ha citado para este martes a la Comisión de Presupuesto a la directora Ejecutiva de ARCC, Rosmary Cornejo Valdivia, para que explique los avances de la ejecución presupuestal y de las metas físicas, así como cuáles son los logros y objetivos alcanzados por esta institución.

“Una vez más, Reconstrucción con Cambios ha demostrado su ineficiencia frente a los riesgos naturales que cada año suceden en el Perú. La población la más perjudicada son siempre los más pobres”, protestó.

La funcionaria debe explicar el porqué destinar tantos miles de millones de soles para contratar personal o compra de bienes, mientras el proceso de reconstrucción ya cumple seis años, explicó.

“Ya estamos próximos a cumplir seis años de El Niño Costero que azotó el norte del país y hoy vemos a nuestros hermanos sufriendo las mismas calamidades y las obras siguen en espera”, remarcó.

Para la sesión del martes 14 de marzo, también se ha citado al director ejecutivo del Programa Nacional de Infraestructura Educativa (Pronied), para exponer el estado actual en que se encuentran los locales educativos ante las persistentes lluvias que soportan diversas regiones del país.

In view of this, the congressman from Podemos Peru reported that the Executive Director of ARCC, Rosmary Cornejo Valdivia, has been summoned to the Budget Committee this Tuesday to explain the progress of budget execution and physical goals, as well as which are the achievements and objectives achieved by this institution.

“Once again, Reconstruction with Changes has demonstrated its inefficiency in the face of the natural risks that occur every year in Peru. The most affected population is always the poorest”, he protested.

The official must explain why allocate so many billions of soles to hire personnel or purchase goods, while the reconstruction process is already six years old, she explained.

“We are close to completing six years of El Niño Costero that hit the north of the country and today we see our brothers suffering the same calamities and the works are still on hold,” he remarked.

For the session on Tuesday, March 14, the executive director of the National Educational Infrastructure Program (Pronied) has also been summoned to present the current state of the educational premises in the face of the persistent rains that various regions of the country are enduring.
