En un pronunciamiento, detalló que se declaró en alerta toda la plataforma de Defensa Civil distrital y de Lima Metropolitana circundantes a las quebradas de las cuencas de los ríos Rímac, Chillón y Lurín, y que el personal y medios de las Fuerzas Armadas y Policía Nacional estará en alerta para asistir a la población afectada en los lugares donde sea requerido.

De igual forma, se suspenden por 24 horas las actividades escolares y universitarias en instituciones educativas públicas y privadas de Lima Metropolitana, región Lima y el Callao, y se dispone el trabajo remoto en las entidades del Estado con las excepciones de personal mínimo que decida el titular del pliego. La mandataria invocó al sector privado a implementar el trabajo remoto.

Además, indicó que el Ministerio de Salud y las autoridades regionales de salud garantizarán la continuidad de sus servicios a nivel nacional, con la máxima disponibilidad de sus recursos, a fin de hacer frente al posible incremento de atenciones a la población.

Paralelamente, la Superintendencia de Transporte Terrestre de Personas, Carga y Mercancías (Sutran), junto a la Policía Nacional, estará presente en todos los terrapuertos o terminales terrestres de Lima Metropolitana para exhortar a la ciudadanía la postergación de sus viajes.

En tanto, habrá acceso restringido al aeropuerto internacional Jorge Chávez, y solo podrán ingresar los pasajeros que cuenten con tarjeta de embarque.

Con respecto a la Línea 1 del Metro de Lima, indicó que se dispuso las medidas preventivas para la seguridad de los usuarios ante posibles aniegos, teniendo en consideración que las estaciones cuentan con espacios abiertos, escaleras sin coberturas y techos de andenes en proceso de cambio y reparación.

En adición a ello, informó que Sedapal funcionará con su servicio regular y, en caso de ser necesario, activará el 100% de los pozos de reserva y brindará el servicio de camiones cisternas.

La presidenta Boluarte ratificó que habrá una permanente coordinación con las autoridades de los tres niveles de Gobierno y se informará a la ciudadanía ininterrumpidamente, tras reiterar su llamado a la calma y a mantenerse atentos frente a la alerta de lluvias intensas.
