Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe El jefe del Gabinete Ministerial, Alberto Otárola Peñaranda, anunció que el Consejo de Ministros aprobó en la víspera el proyecto de ley que crea la Autoridad Nacional de Infraestructura, ente que se encargará de la ejecución de obras de envergadura, sobre todo en materia de prevención de desastres, como sistemas de alerta temprana, drenaje pluvial, protección de cuencas y quebradas, entre otras acciones.

El premier detalló que, por encargo de la presidenta Dina Boluarte, la nueva entidad articulará a los ministerios correspondientes con los gobiernos regionales y locales para emprender proyectos de montos mayores a 500 millones de soles, que sean de alta complejidad.

“La Autoridad Nacional de Infraestructura integrará por absorción a la actual Autoridad para la Reconstrucción con Cambios, realizando modificaciones sustanciales; es decir, primarán las obras de prevención que debieron hacerse hace seis o siete años en las cuencas y quebradas, por cuyo descuido se ha afectado tanto a la población”, precisó el titular de la PCM.

El proyecto será remitido al Congreso de la República para su debate y aprobación. Otárola Peñaranda invocó al Parlamento atender esta iniciativa con prontitud. “Este proyecto de ley irá con carácter prioritario al Congreso. Hacemos una invocación para que le den la urgencia debida y así tener una autoridad potente, con ejecución inmediata y de la mano con las necesidades de la ciudadanía”, sostuvo.

ESTADO DE EMERGENCIA
De otro lado, el jefe de Gabinete informó que el Gobierno aprobó un decreto supremo para declarar el estado de emergencia por 60 días en distritos de Ica y Huánuco, a consecuencia de las intensas precipitaciones pluviales.

La medida alcanza a los distritos de Hermilio Valdizán, José Crespo y Castillo y Santo Domingo de Anda, provincia de Leoncio Prado, así como La Morada y Santa Rosa de Alto Yanajanca, provincia de Marañón, en Huánuco. En cuanto a Ica, la declaratoria de emergencia comprende a los distritos de El Ingenio, provincia de Nasca, Ocucaje, provincia de Ica, y Tibillo, provincia de Palpa.

Junto al premier participaron en la conferencia de prensa las ministras de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, Hania Pérez de Cuéllar; Transportes y Comunicaciones, Paola Lazarte; de la Mujer, Nancy Tolentino; y de Salud, Rosa Gutiérrez, quienes dieron alcances sobre importantes acciones realizadas desde sus sectores.

The project will be sent to the Congress of the Republic for its debate and approval. Otárola Peñaranda called on Parliament to attend to this initiative promptly. “This bill will go to Congress as a priority. We make an invocation so that they give it the due urgency and thus have a powerful authority, with immediate execution and hand in hand with the needs of the citizenry,” he said.

STATE OF EMERGENCY
On the other hand, the Chief of Staff reported that the Government approved a supreme decree to declare a state of emergency for 60 days in the districts of Ica and Huánuco, as a result of the intense rainfall.

The measure covers the districts of Hermilio Valdizán, José Crespo y Castillo and Santo Domingo de Anda, province of Leoncio Prado, as well as La Morada and Santa Rosa de Alto Yanajanca, province of Marañón, in Huánuco. As for Ica, the emergency declaration covers the districts of El Ingenio, Nasca province, Ocucaje, Ica province, and Tibillo, Palpa province.
