“Se trata de un crédito suplementario que permitirá asignar 4,398 millones de soles al plan Con Punche Perú; 3,495 millones a las emergencias y reconstrucción; y 339 millones a otras medidas que contribuirán a la recuperación y crecimiento”, dijo la mandataria durante su participación en la ceremonia por el 135° aniversario de la Cámara de Comercio de Lima.

Tras agradecer la celeridad del Congreso para aprobar dicho crédito suplementario, la jefa de Estado remarcó que otro elemento que dinamizará la economía en los siguientes meses será el desarrollo de grandes obras de infraestructura, como la ampliación del Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Chávez, el terminal portuario de Chancay; la Línea 2 del Metro de Lima y el Muelle Sur.

Además, resaltó que se ejecutará la carretera Longitudinal de la Sierra Tramo 4 y la modernización del ferrocarril Huancayo – Huancavelica, conocido como Tren Macho, bajo la modalidad de asociación público privada, beneficiando a las regiones Junín, Huancavelica, Ica, Ayacucho y Apurímac.

“Vamos a revertir el estancamiento económico, la parálisis y la ineficiencia de los últimos tiempos. Vamos a recuperar la capacidad de crecer, de invertir, de crear buenos empleos, de mejorar los salarios, de reducir el costo de vida que tanto afecta a las familias”, enfatizó la dignataria.

Según remarcó, el Gobierno impulsará el crecimiento y desarrollo, que no sólo tiene que ver con cifras o estadísticas sino con la inclusión y un rostro humano y lucha contra la corrupción.

La presidenta recordó que se enfrenta el gran desafío de reconstruir la patria frente a una crisis política y social, y el impacto generado por las lluvias e inundaciones, pero afirmó estar convencida de que ello será posible trabajando de la mano tanto autoridades como el sector privado.

“La reactivación económica es uno de los grandes objetivos que se ha planteado nuestro Gobierno, y ya podemos ver señales favorables que marcan un camino de recuperación para los próximos meses”, añadió tras mencionar que en el primer trimestre del 2023 la inversión pública logró un récord de ejecución respecto a similares períodos de años anteriores, al superar los 7,000 millones de soles, lo que representa un crecimiento de 15,8% anual.

Además, subrayó que es la primera vez que, con autoridades nuevas en el Ejecutivo y en los gobiernos regionales y locales, la inversión pública crece en 15,8%. “Nunca antes la inversión pública había crecido en un escenario de cambio de autoridades”, dijo.

“Seguiremos poniendo todo nuestro esfuerzo, nuestro tiempo y nuestro compromiso para mejorar las condiciones de vida de las peruanas y peruanos, en especial, de los más vulnerables”, agregó la jefa de Estado.

The president recalled that she is facing the great challenge of rebuilding the homeland in the face of a political and social crisis, and the impact generated by the rains and floods, but she stated that she is convinced that this will be possible by working hand in hand with both authorities and the private sector. .

“Economic reactivation is one of the great objectives that our Government has set itself, and we can already see favorable signs that mark a path of recovery for the coming months,” he added after mentioning that in the first quarter of 2023 public investment achieved a record execution compared to similar periods of previous years, exceeding 7,000 million soles, which represents a growth of 15.8% per year.

In addition, he stressed that it is the first time that, with new authorities in the Executive and in regional and local governments, public investment grows by 15.8%. “Never before has public investment grown in a scenario of change of authorities,” he said.

“We will continue putting all our effort, our time and our commitment to improve the living conditions of Peruvians, especially the most vulnerable,” added the head of state.
