En la actividad, participaron el alcalde de Villa Munichis, Ronald Tangoa y representantes del distrito de Yurimaguas. Las instalaciones de este nuevo espacio permitirán tener acceso a la cultura, a través del libro, lecturas y actividades culturales.

La ministra de Cultura, Leslie Urteaga, participó del evento de manera virtual y allí dijo que, “seguiremos trabajando de la mano de las autoridades para tener más espacios de lectura y disfrute”, ante la alegría de niñas y niños. También destacó la importancia de este tipo de espacios, porque el acceso a la lectura debe ser un derecho y no un privilegio.

Esta iniciativa cultural surge por la necesidad de atender la demanda ciudadana, principalmente de poblaciones alejadas y vulnerables del país, para tener un mayor acceso a la cultura y específicamente al libro y la lectura. Estos son componentes esenciales para construir ciudadanía con igualdad de oportunidades y una auténtica democratización de los servicios culturales para todos, principalmente para las niñas y niños.

En ese sentido, el Ministerio de Cultura, reafirmando su compromiso en la implementación de la Política Nacional de la Lectura, el Libro y las Bibliotecas al 2030, en coordinación con la Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Loreto, entregó una importante donación de libros modernos para implementar el espacio cultural y de lectura y, otros materiales artísticos para promover el fomento de lectura.

De esta manera, el Centro Poblado de Villa Munichis, gracias al compromiso de sus autoridades, más de 500 familias tendrán acceso a la información y otros derechos culturales para lograr su desarrollo y sostenibilidad.

Luego del corte de la cinta e inauguración, los participantes realizaron el recorrido por el espacio cultural y disfrutaron de las actividades culturales y de mediación de lectura, que estuvieron a cargo del Patronato Cultural de Yurimaguas “Shungos”.

Cabe destacar que la Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Loreto (DDCL), en nombre del Ministerio de Cultura, está desarrollando múltiples acciones alineadas a los objetivos prioritarios de la Política Nacional de Cultura al 2030.

In this sense, the Ministry of Culture, reaffirming its commitment to the implementation of the National Policy for Reading, Books and Libraries by 2030, in coordination with the Decentralized Directorate of Culture of Loreto, delivered an important donation of modern books for implement the cultural and reading space and other artistic materials to promote the promotion of reading.

In this way, the Town Center of Villa Munichis, thanks to the commitment of its authorities, more than 500 families will have access to information and other cultural rights to achieve their development and sustainability.
