“El Minsa y el Cenares realizan una ardua labor para hacer frente a estas enfermedades en Piura. Estamos en constante comunicación con la Diresa para brindar los medicamentos que sean necesarios para atender a los pacientes afectados”, informó Ana Carmela Vásquez, directora general del Cenares.
Por otro lado, el Ministerio de Salud realiza acciones contra el dengue, como charlas informativas para evitar los criaderos de zancudos en las viviendas, así como las jornadas de fumigación contra la enfermedad que se realiza en varios distritos piuranos en articulación con el gobierno central, regional y local.
“Es importante que las familias permitan el ingreso a su domicilio del personal de salud para realizar estas acciones que pueden salvar sus vidas”, puntualizó.
DISTRIBUCIÓN A NIVEL NACIONAL
A la fecha, en el Perú se han distribuido 15 043 unidades de pruebas para la detección del dengue y se ha entregado 21 216 unidades de pruebas Elisa (tipo molecular) para la detección del chikungunya. Contando con lo entregado a la región de Piura, en total se han distribuido 46 989 pruebas para la detección oportuna de estas enfermedades a todos los establecimientos de salud a nivel nacional.
