Al asistir a los honores fúnebres de la suboficial de la Policía Nacional, Olenka Dayanne Cabrera Machacuay, fallecida durante una operación contra la delincuencia en Puno, la jefa de Estado expresó su más sentidas condolencias a los familiares y amigos de la agente policial.
“Se ha ido una heroína de la patria, una mujer valiente comprometida con su institución y, sobre todo, con el Perú, luchando contra las hordas criminales que pretenden arrebatarnos la tranquilidad y el derecho a vivir en paz”, enfatizó la mandataria en la ceremonia.
La presidenta Boluarte expresó su más firme rechazo y repudio a la delincuencia y la criminalidad que generan dolor y zozobra en el país. “Este execrable hecho no quedará impune. La democracia y el Estado de derecho no lo permitirán”, puntualizó.
De igual forma, la dignataria dijo esperar que los responsables del crimen sean puestos en manos de la justicia y caiga sobre ellos todo el peso de la ley.
Como parte del homenaje póstumo, la jefa de Estado entregó el Pabellón Nacional y el kepí de la fallecida suboficial a su madre, Lourdes Machacuay.
Junto a la mandataria, participaron en esta ceremonia el ministro del Interior, Vicente Romero; la ministra de la Mujer y Poblaciones Vulnerables, Nancy Tolentino, autoridades policiales y familiares de Olenka Cabrera.
