Adriana Rebaza Flores” Amistad Perú -Japón del Ministerio de Salud (Minsa), recibió la donación de ayudas biomecánicas de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días, para hacer entrega posteriormente a los pacientes de escasos recursos económicos, y puedan tener una mejor calidad de vida.
 
La entrega efectuada el 19 de Mayo, que se realiza en el marco del Acuerdo de Cooperación Técnica, suscrito el 19 de setiembre del 2018 entre el INR y la Iglesia en mención, consta de sillas de ruedas de soporte (sillas de ruedas pediátricas activas, cochecitos y sillas de ruedas neurológicas) y sillas de ruedas básicas (estándar, todo terreno), bastones y muletas.
 
La ceremonia, llevada a cabo en el Auditorio “Lic. Elvira Cano Postigo” contó con la presencia de la M.C. Lily Pinguz Vergara, directora general del INR, quien resaltó el desprendimiento de los miembros de La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días hacia los que más necesitan. “Nos hemos aliado para realizar un objetivo de bien. Lo más gratificante que  podemos ver es la alegría inmensa del paciente, su contexto familiar y su comunidad. Se entregarán las sillas con el objetivo de incluir a la personas con discapacidad y puedan ser parte auténtica de una sociedad con igualdad de oportunidades”, precisó.
 
Por su parte, Frank Camarena Montoya, líder local de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en Chorrillos expresó” Tenemos algo en común. Ustedes (INR) ayudan a personas con discapacidad y nosotros (Iglesia) buscamos contribuir con la sociedad con apoyo espiritual. En esta ocasión, tenemos el grato placer de donar estas sillas que va a servir y alegrar el corazón de los pacientes que atienden”, 
 
Es importante resaltar que los beneficiarios de las sillas de ruedas serán pacientes del INR y personas con discapacidad de diversas partes del Perú.

The ceremony, held in the Auditorium “Lic. Elvira Cano Postigo” was attended by M.C. Lily Pinguz Vergara, general director of the INR, who highlighted the detachment of the members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints towards those who need it most. “We have allied to achieve a good goal. The most gratifying thing that we can see is the immense joy of the patient, his family context and his community. The chairs will be delivered with the aim of including people with disabilities so that they can be an authentic part of a society with equal opportunities”, he specified.

For his part, Frank Camarena Montoya, local leader of the Church of Jesus Christ in Chorrillos expressed “We have something in common. You (INR) help people with disabilities and we (Church) seek to contribute to society with spiritual support. On this occasion, we have the great pleasure of donating these chairs that will serve and brighten the hearts of the patients they care for”,

It is important to highlight that the beneficiaries of the wheelchairs will be INR patients and people with disabilities from various parts of Peru.
