La ministra Pérez de Cuéllar resaltó que después de 10 años de espera, las familias beneficiarias tienen ahora seguridad jurídica sobre sus predios, que con tanto esfuerzo y sacrificio lograron construirlos.
“Hoy se rompe la cadena de la incertidumbre. Entregamos estos títulos de propiedad, que más que un título de propiedad, es un título de esperanza, que ahora les permite a ustedes ser propietarios de sus predios y darles un mejor futuro a sus hijos”, expresó.
Refirió también que podrán acceder a los programas del fondo MIVIENDA para ampliar o mejorar sus casas o ser sujetos de crédito en alguna entidad financiera a fin de emprender algún negocio que les permita mejorar la economía en el hogar.
La titular del MVCS anunció que para este año se espera entregar más de 2500 títulos de propiedad en Arequipa.
Asimismo, ratificó su compromiso de seguir trabajando para devolverle la dignidad y esperanza a las familias vulnerables del país.
Del total de títulos de propiedad, 2946 títulos corresponden a viviendas y 74 a equipamientos urbanos destinados a brindar servicios comunitarios de educación, salud, recreación, áreas verdes, entre otros usos, que fueron legalizados por el Organismo de Formalización de la Propiedad Informal (COFOPRI)
Cabe destacar que 1916 títulos son para la provincia de Arequipa, 167 pertenecen a Camaná, 134 a Caravelí, 144 a Castilla, 207 a Caylloma, 125 a Condesuyos, 184 a Islay y 143 son para La Unión.
La ceremonia de entrega de títulos se llevó a cabo en el Palacio Metropolitano de Bellas Artes “Mario Vargas Llosa”, en la que también estuvo presente el director ejecutivo de COFOPRI, Manuel Montes Boza, así como familias y representantes de instituciones públicas beneficiarias.
CIERRE DE BRECHA
En declaraciones a la prensa, la ministra Pérez de Cuéllar dijo que su sector viene trabajando con los alcaldes provinciales y distritales de Arequipa la identificación de terrenos donde se puedan implementar programas de viviendas de interés social, que contribuyan a reducir el déficit de 80 mil casas que existe en la región.
Anotó que el Plan de Desarrollo Urbano de Arequipa está pendiente de aprobación, debido a una acción judicial, ante lo cual el MVCS brindará asistencia técnica y legal a la comuna provincial a fin de levantar esa medida.
“Es importante levantar esa medida para que se pueda generar una nueva zonificación y a partir de ahí, identificar suelo que pueda ser apto para construir viviendas de interés social y así ir cerrando la brecha”, apuntó.
