Durante su participación en la ceremonia por el 143.° aniversario de la Batalla de Arica y Renovación del Juramento de Fidelidad a la Bandera, la mandataria remarcó que el Ejecutivo tiene el deber de seguir afianzando la estabilidad, la democracia y la recuperación de la confianza.

Gracias a ello, subrayó la jefa de Estado en su discurso, el país vuelve a crecer y el Gobierno acaba de presentar en Francia el referido documento de adhesión a la OCDE.

En esa línea, la dignataria ratificó la importancia de mantener la unidad y la paz, y de luchar contra la pobreza, desigualdad y corrupción para impulsar el crecimiento del país. “El Perú quiere construir su futuro con fe, con optimismo y con esperanza”, puntualizó.

Al recordar la figura de héroes nacionales como Francisco Bolognesi y los valientes del Morro, durante la Guerra del Pacífico, la presidenta refirió que la lucha que ellos desplegaron no fue solo por la soberanía sino también por la defensa de la Bandera.

“La Bandera Nacional es símbolo de unidad, de orgullo, es el recuerdo de que, por encima de nuestras diferencias, estamos unidos bajo un mismo objetivo: el de construir un país más justo, fuerte y próspero”, enfatizó la jefa de Estado.

En otro momento, la mandataria adelantó que este viernes, cumpliendo el compromiso de hacer un gobierno transparente y que rinde cuentas de sus actos ante la población, presentará el balance de los seis meses de gestión del Ejecutivo.

“Será una oportunidad más para mostrar ante todas las peruanas y peruanos las medidas, las acciones, las inversiones sociales y los logros de nuestro gobierno, pero también los retos que tenemos por delante”, manifestó.

La presidenta Boluarte participó de esta actividad junto a los ministros de Defensa, Jorge Chávez, y del Interior, Vicente Romero; los titulares del Congreso, José Williams, y del Poder Judicial, Javier Arévalo, y autoridades castrenses.
