Esta mañana, la titular del MVCS sostuvo un encuentro con el alcalde del distrito de San Antonio, Nick Aponte; el alcalde provincial de Huarochirí, Hugo Gonzáles; la gobernadora de la región Lima Provincias, Rosa Vásquez, así como con dirigentes representantes de los 38 sectores de Jicamarca, beneficiarios de la obra.
La ministra Pérez de Cuéllar informó que el proyecto, a cargo del Programa Agua Segura para Lima y Callao (PASLC), presenta un avance del 98% en su ejecución, por lo que pronto estará al servicio de 33,194 habitantes de Jicamarca, quienes desde hace 20 años esperan contar con agua y saneamiento.
“En diciembre, en un acto público, será la entrega de la obra (de agua y alcantarillado) que hemos venido ejecutando. Esta obra va a pasar a manos de Sedapal, que se encargará de la ejecución, mantenimiento y del servicio de agua potable que se brindará a las familias beneficiarias del proyecto”, apuntó.
Agregó que su sector canalizará los pedidos de construcción de pistas, veredas y titulación de predios planteados por las autoridades y pobladores de Huarochirí.
De otro lado, la ministra informó que se publicó la resolución que autoriza la transferencia de más de S/ 79 millones para distribuir agua potable a las poblaciones vulnerables que no cuentan con el servicio. “Quiero informales que la distribución de agua gratuita está garantizada hasta diciembre, el presupuesto también está garantizado”, enfatizó.
La obra contempla la instalación de más de 171 km de redes y conexiones de agua potable, 37 km de líneas de impulsión, 21 km de troncales, 22 reservorios, y más de 7 mil conexiones domiciliarias de agua potable.
Asimismo, como parte del sistema de alcantarillado, se han instalado 161 kilómetros de redes y conexiones secundarias, 31 km de líneas colectoras, 11 km de colectores de descarga, 2.4 km de líneas de rebose, y 7,157 conexiones domiciliarias de alcantarillado.
En otro momento, la ministra de Vivienda reafirmó que una de las prioridades del Gobierno, principalmente de su sector, es el de dotar de agua, saneamiento y una vivienda digna a la población, para lo cual trabaja con rigor técnico y cero corrupción.
Sostuvo que los enemigos en común son la corrupción, la pobreza y la injusticia. “Si tenemos que resolver el problema del agua, tenemos que también combatir la corrupción”, acotó.
FENÓMENO EL NIÑO
En declaraciones a la prensa, la titular del MVCS señaló que su sector, conjuntamente con otros ministerios e instituciones del Estado, viene preparando un plan de respuesta y prevención frente al Fenómeno de El Niño Global, tras la declaratoria de emergencia decretada por el Gobierno en 18 regiones del país.
Refirió que el Ministerio de Vivienda, en coordinación con el Midagri y gobiernos regionales, ejecutarán obras en 7 regiones, que comprende trabajos de drenaje pluvial, descolmatación de quebradas y ríos. Además, se ha previsto el reparto de agua potable en aquellas zonas que se vean afectadas por los efectos climáticos.
Anotó que su sector contará con un presupuesto de entre 500 y 600 millones de soles para enfrentar el fenómeno de El Niño.
“La idea es trabajar de manera articulada entre los tres niveles de gobierno para avanzar en las obras y de esta manera, cuando llegue el fenómeno de El Niño Global, en diciembre, estemos mejor preparados”, manifestó.
De otro lado, la ministra Pérez de Cuéllar dijo que el Ministerio de Vivienda viene brindando todas las facilidades en la investigación que realiza la Fiscalía sobre presuntos actos de corrupción en el Fondo MIVIVIENDA, que involucra a exfuncionarios del sector y a representantes de la empresa Marka Group.
Informó que se está culminando con la renovación de los funcionarios que ocupan altos cargos en esa institución, la cual ahora cuenta con un nuevo directorio.
Asimismo, señaló que se viene trabajando en una estrategia para que las familias, que apostaron por los proyectos inmobiliarios promovidos por Marka Group, no se vean perjudicadas y aseguró que los fondos aportados están garantizados y no se van a perder.
