Además, enfatizó que es una muestra de los avances realizados por el Gobierno para reinsertar al Perú en el ámbito internacional.
“Por primera vez los dos presidentes de las instituciones de finanzas más importantes del mundo y América Latina han realizado una visita conjunta al Perú, que muestra la confianza en nuestro país, la conducción de la política económica y la visión de la presidenta en el cierre de brechas”, indicó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial.
El titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) informó que la presidenta de la República, Dina Boluarte, brindó una audiencia a los presidentes del BM y del BID, en donde también participaron ministros de Estado. “Ha sido una reunión provechosa que se traducirá en la ratificación de la confianza de ambas organizaciones en el Perú y en sus perspectivas económicas”, aseguró.
Por su parte, el ministro de Economía y Finanzas, Alex Contreras Miranda, señaló que, durante el encuentro, los representantes del BM y del BID ratificaron su apoyo a las políticas que se van a implementar dirigidas a la reactivación, la generación del empleo y la mejora de la salud y la educación.
El premier Otárola destacó que la visita de hoy se suma a las acciones impulsadas por el Ejecutivo en las últimas semanas, en donde una delegación de alto nivel del Gobierno, integrada por los titulares de la PCM y los ministerios de Relaciones Exteriores y Economía y Finanzas, entregó en París el memorando inicial del Perú para el proceso de acceso a la OCDE.
