En conferencia de prensa, la mandataria señaló que estas primeras medidas permitirán la ejecución de más de 600 intervenciones en las regiones declaradas en Estado de Emergencia por peligro inminente de este fenómeno climático.

Con estos decretos, la ARCC dispondrá de más de 225 millones de soles para ejecutar, inmediatamente, más de 100 acciones de limpieza, descolmatación y conformación de dique en las regiones de Áncash, Ica, La Libertad, Lambayeque, Lima, Piura y Tumbes, con el objetivo de reducir vulnerabilidades.

En tanto, el Midagri contará con más de 975 millones de soles para efectuar en las mismas jurisdicciones más de 518 trabajos de limpieza y descolmatación en cauces de ríos y quebradas. Las tareas serán desarrolladas a través de la Autoridad Nacional del Agua.

PRINCIPALES INTERVENCIONES
Entre las intervenciones que se llevarán a cabo destaca la salida al mar del río Piura, que comprende la ampliación del cauce en Chutuque y Virrilá, a fin de facilitar su desfogue en momentos de máximo caudal y reducir los desbordes del río en el Bajo Piura, que incluye a Piura, Catacaos, Curamori, Sechura y Bernal.

Para la región Tumbes se ha considerado la reducción de riesgos en los sectores Palmar, Malval, Corrales, Tumbes y Puente Franco de la provincia de Tumbes, por encontrarse en alto riesgo de impacto ante un fenómeno de El Niño.

En el caso Lambayeque se atenderá las zonas críticas de los ríos La Leche, en las zonas del distrito de Íllimo y el sector del Bosque de Pómac, y Chancay, en el distrito de Reque.

En la Libertad se intervendrá el río Chicama, en el sector Sausal del distrito de Ascope; mientras que en Áncash se trabajará en los puntos críticos del río Lacramarca, en el distrito de Chimbote.

En Lima se priorizará la atención de las quebradas de Chosica y las zonas vulnerables de diversos sectores del río Rímac, entre los distritos de Ate y Chaclayo; mientras que en Ica se desarrollarán intervenciones en la quebrada Cansas, en el distrito de La Tinguiña.

NUEVA LEY DE CONTRATACIONES DEL ESTADO
El presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Alberto Otárola, informó que en la sesión también se aprobó el proyecto de la nueva Ley de Contrataciones del Estado, la cual será enviada con carácter de urgencia al Congreso de la República.

“La norma aprobada es pionera porque maximizará el uso de los recursos en las contrataciones de bienes, servicios y obras del Estado. Sin duda significará una segunda ola en el proceso de reformar el aparato público”, indicó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial.

Otárola Peñaranda explicó que la iniciativa aprobada considera, de manera transversal, la lucha contra la corrupción y el destrabe de las obras públicas.

“Este dispositivo establece procedimientos de selección sencillos, amplía los impedimentos de los sancionados por corrupción e incorpora el pacto de integridad en las contrataciones. En suma, los procesos de contratación serán más cortos y eficientes”, añadió.

Adicionalmente, el premier anunció que el consejo aprobó el proyecto de ley que impulsa la reactivación económica y el empleo del sector textil y confección, a fin de adelantar las inversiones para los años 2023 y 2024.

“This device establishes simple selection procedures, broadens the impediments for those sanctioned for corruption and incorporates the integrity pact in contracting. In short, the contracting processes will be shorter and more efficient,” he added.

Additionally, the premier announced that the council approved the bill that promotes the economic reactivation and employment of the textile and clothing sector, in order to advance investments for the years 2023 and 2024.
