El jueves 15 de junio a las 11:00 de la mañana en el local del centro pastoral Jesuita Centro Loyola de Tacna ubicado en la avenida Bolognesi 261, se efectuó la entrega de 800 kits de refrigerios además de alimentos no perecibles de primera necesidad para el comedor popular del centro Loyola.
La entrega contó con la presencia de Rosa Flores, representante de la Oficina del Alto Comisionado de las Naciones para los Refugiados – ACNUR, Rosa Blanco, Directora del Centro Loyola y de Néstor Garayar, líder local de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en Tacna, acompañado de Cesar H. Hooker, Gerente de Bienestar y Autosuficiencia y de Johel Valdivia Manrique de la oficina de Ayuda Humanitaria de la Iglesia.
Las bolsas de refrigerios contenían alimentos como: latas de trozos de atún, cajas de leche chocolatada, paquetes de galletas, barras de cereal y botellas de agua y de rehidratante, cada bolsa con un peso aproximado de 10 kilos.
Y los alimentos para el comedor consistieron en: aceite, avena, arroz, azúcar, fideos, conservas de pescado leche y lentejas.
Rosa Blanco del Centro Loyola y Rosa Flores de ACNUR, agradecieron a la Iglesia de Jesucristo por la donación de alimentos que ayudara a los migrantes y las personas vulnerables que atiende el comedor del Centro Loyola.
Cesar Hooker de la Iglesia de Jesucristo expresó la voluntad y compromiso de la Iglesia de ayudar a las instituciones que atienden a las personas que necesitan ayuda alimentaria.

On Thursday June 15 at 11:00 in the morning at the premises of the Jesuita Centro Loyola de Tacna pastoral center located at Avenida Bolognesi 261, 800 snack kits were delivered as well as non-perishable basic food items for the soup kitchen in the Loyola center.
The delivery was attended by Rosa Flores, representative of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees – UNHCR, Rosa Blanco, Director of the Loyola Center and Néstor Garayar, local leader of the Church of Jesus Christ in Tacna, accompanied by Cesar H. Hooker, Manager of Welfare and Self-Sufficiency, and Johel Valdivia Manrique of the Church’s Humanitarian Aid office.
The snack bags contained food such as: cans of tuna chunks, boxes of chocolate milk, packets of cookies, cereal bars, and bottles of water and rehydration, each bag weighing approximately 10 kilos.
And the food for the dining room consisted of: oil, oats, rice, sugar, noodles, canned fish, milk and lentils.
Rosa Blanco from the Loyola Center and Rosa Flores from UNHCR thanked the Church of Jesus Christ for the donation of food that would help migrants and vulnerable people served by the Loyola Center dining room.
Cesar Hooker of the Church of Jesus Christ expressed the will and commitment of the Church to help the institutions that serve people who need food aid.
