Se trata del “Decreto de urgencia que establece medidas en materia económica y financiera para la ejecución de intervenciones ante peligro inminente por intensas precipitaciones pluviales y posible ocurrencia del fenómeno El Niño”.

A través de esta norma, se dispone un presupuesto de S/48 366 900 a favor del Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, para financiar la adquisición de maquinarias y vehículos, como excavadoras, volquetes, tractores oruga, cargadores frontales, tractores, entre otros.

Los puntos críticos están ubicados en los departamentos de Tumbes, Piura, Lambayeque y La Libertad. Se realizarán acciones de limpieza y descolmatación de cauces, defensas ribereñas, sistemas de drenaje y atención de la transitabilidad de vías.

Esta norma es una de varias medidas implementadas por el Gobierno para salvaguardar el bienestar de la población, así como garantizar los servicios de los sectores involucrados ante los fenómenos climatológicos.

Se aprobó también un decreto de urgencia que establece medidas excepcionales para garantizar operaciones de reporte para enfrentar escenarios extraordinarios de necesidad de liquidez.

Esta acción permitirá proveer de liquidez a las entidades financieras participantes, necesaria para mantener el flujo de crédito a favor de los sectores que se verían más afectados por los riesgos climatológicos.

Con ello, se brindará protección a alrededor de nueve millones de depositantes, principalmente personas naturales, que cuentan con depósitos de ahorristas que ascienden a S/34 800 millones.

El Ejecutivo continuará fortaleciendo las acciones de prevención dispuestas por la presidenta Dina Boluarte, con el objetivo de mitigar posibles riesgos debido a fenómenos naturales.

El Consejo de Ministros aprobó prorrogar el estado de emergencia algunas provincias y distritos de Tumbes, Piura, Cajamarca, Amazonas y Loreto, con el fin de mantener el reforzamiento de la vigilancia en las fronteras del país.

También fue aprobado el “Decreto supremo que determina las actividades agroindustriales comprendidas en la Ley N° 31110, Ley del régimen Laboral Agrario y de incentivos para el sector agrario y riego, agroexportador y agroindustrial”.

This action will make it possible to provide the participating financial entities with liquidity, which is necessary to maintain the flow of credit in favor of the sectors that would be most affected by weather risks.

With this, protection will be provided to around nine million depositors, mainly individuals, who have saver deposits amounting to S/34.8 billion.
