“Desde el Gobierno, a través de Devida, estamos comprometidos con la promoción de una vida sana y sin drogas. Felicitamos a los ciudadanos presentes en este evento por sumarse a este gran esfuerzo en beneficio de la sociedad”, indició el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial al inicio del festival.

En la actividad compitieron miles de deportistas y contó con la asistencia de la ministra de la Mujer y Poblaciones Vulnerables, Nancy Tolentino; del presidente de la Comisión Nacional para el Desarrollo y Vida sin Drogas (Devida), Carlos Figueroa; del alcalde de la Municipalidad Distrital de Miraflores, Carlos Canales, y de representantes de la Municipalidad Metropolitana de Lima.

También estuvieron presentes el comandante general de la Policía Nacional del Perú, Jorge Angulo, y los directores de la Dirección Nacional de Investigación Criminal (Dirnic), Manuel Arriola, y de la Dirección Antidrogas (Dirandro), José Ludeña.

Las ganadoras de la maratón fueron Flor Rojas, Lucía Isisola, Winny Dueñas y Diana Flores en las categorías para damas libre, discapacidad física, discapacidad auditiva y discapacidad visual, respectivamente.

Respecto a los varones, los ganadores fueron Nilton Ortiz, Marcelo Roca, David Moreno y Wilder Puris, en las categorias libre, discapacidad física, discapacidad auditiva y discapacidad visual, respectivamente.

La actividad, organizada por Devida, se enmarca en el “Día Internacional de Lucha Contra el Uso Indebido y el Tráfico Ilícito de Drogas” que conmemora la Organización de las Naciones Unidas cada 26 de junio.

La carrera del festival atlético inició en la avenida de la Peruanidad, en el Campo de Marte del distrito de Jesús María, y culminó en la cuadra 2 de la avenida Larco, en el distrito de Miraflores.

Thousands of athletes competed in the activity and was attended by the Minister for Women and Vulnerable Populations, Nancy Tolentino; the president of the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida), Carlos Figueroa; the mayor of the District Municipality of Miraflores, Carlos Canales, and representatives of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima.

Also present were the General Commander of the Peruvian National Police, Jorge Angulo, and the directors of the National Criminal Investigation Directorate (Dirnic), Manuel Arriola, and the Anti-Drug Directorate (Dirandro), José Ludeña.
