Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe Como parte del diálogo impulsado por la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros entre los diversos actores sociales del distrito de Puinahua, en la provincia de Requena (Loreto), se instaló el Comité Inicial del Fondo de Desarrollo del Distrito de Puinahua – Lote 95.

Este comité tendrá la finalidad de conformar la junta de administración definitiva del fondo mencionado, el cual reunirá los aportes del 2.5% del valor de la producción fiscalizada de petróleo que genera la empresa Petrotal en el Lote 95, los que se destinarán al financiamiento de proyectos de desarrollo de infraestructura básica y productiva, para beneficio de 18 localidades del distrito de Puinahua.

La figura del fondo fue incluida, mediante una adenda, al contrato de licencia para la exploración y explotación de hidrocarburos en el Lote 95. Se trata de un nuevo modelo que agilizará los proyectos de desarrollo e intervenciones en ese distrito productor de petróleo.

En la instalación participaron el gobernador regional de Loreto, Jorge Chávez; el alcalde de la Municipalidad Distrital de Puinahua, Giordano Mendoza; el presidente de la Asociación Indígena de Desarrollo y Conservación de Bajo Puinahua (Aidecobap), James Pérez, el representante de la Junta de Autoridades de Puinahua (JAP), Azael Arbildo.

También estuvieron presentes representantes de la Secretaría de Gestión Social y Diálogo de la PCM, del Ministerio de Energía y Minas (Minem), de la Defensoría del Pueblo y de Perupetro; quienes destacaron la disposición de la Aidecobap y la JAP por entablar el diálogo y su voluntad de alcanzar acuerdos en beneficio del territorio.

El comité estará conformado por tres representantes de la Aidecobap, la JAP, la Municipalidad Distrital de Puinahua y Perupetro, respectivamente. En tanto, el Gobierno Regional de Loreto, el Minem y la secretaría participarán en las reuniones del comité a través de la asistencia y el acompañamiento técnico.

This committee will have the purpose of forming the definitive board of directors of the aforementioned fund, which will gather the contributions of 2.5% of the value of the controlled oil production generated by the Petrotal company in Block 95, which will be used to finance projects development of basic and productive infrastructure, for the benefit of 18 towns in the district of Puinahua.

The figure of the fund was included, through an addendum, to the license contract for the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons in Block 95. It is a new model that will expedite development projects and interventions in that oil-producing district.

The regional governor of Loreto, Jorge Chávez; the mayor of the District Municipality of Puinahua, Giordano Mendoza; the president of the Indigenous Association for Development and Conservation of Bajo Puinahua (Aidecobap), James Pérez, the representative of the Puinahua Board of Authorities (JAP), Azael Arbildo.

Also present were representatives of the Secretariat for Social Management and Dialogue of the PCM, the Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem), the Ombudsman’s Office and Perupetro; who highlighted the willingness of Aidecobap and JAP to engage in dialogue and their willingness to reach agreements for the benefit of the territory.

The committee will be made up of three representatives from Aidecobap, JAP, the District Municipality of Puinahua and Perupetro, respectively. Meanwhile, the Regional Government of Loreto, the Minem and the secretariat will participate in the committee meetings through assistance and technical support.
