En ese sentido, informó sobre la aprobación de un decreto supremo que prorroga por 30 días el estado de emergencia en el Corredor Vial Sur Apurímac-Cusco-Arequipa y en el Corredor Vial Interoceánica Sur.

“Hemos aprobado un decreto supremo que prorroga el estado de emergencia en el Corredor Vial Sur y establece también el estado de emergencia en las redes viales regionales y locales, con la finalidad de garantizar la libre circulación por Fiestas Patrias y el derecho a la libre movilización, especialmente la próxima semana”, explicó el premier.

Enfatizó que las protestas sociales no deben afectar los bienes públicos ni a las personas, y que se está trabajando en cautelar la integridad, tanto de los ciudadanos que se sumen a las marchas, como de los peruanos que quieren trabajar y celebrar a la patria en este mes.

Otárola Peñaranda, manifestó que el Consejo de Ministros inició el debate de una propuesta que coadyuvará a mejorar la calidad de los proyectos y expedientes técnicos de las municipalidades y los gobiernos regionales.

“Se trata de una norma que ayude a la elaboración de expedientes técnicos definitivos, con profesionales de especialización, y que permita un ahorro cualitativo y cuantitativo, especialmente a los gobiernos locales. Es, fundamentalmente, un combate frontal contra la corrupción”, dijo.

Finalmente, añadió que el Ejecutivo se suma a la campaña Corazón Azul, importante iniciativa que simboliza un combate frontal y la implementación de una serie de acciones contra la trata de personas en el país.

Junto al titular de la PCM estuvieron los ministros del Interior, Vicente Romero; de Comercio Exterior y Turismo, Juan Carlos Mathews; de la Producción, Javier Pérez Reyes; y de Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo, Fernando Varela, quienes informaron también sobre los avances de sus sectores.
