Al encuentro, realizado en Palacio de Gobierno, asistieron los presidentes del Congreso, José Williams; del Poder Judicial, Javier Arévalo; el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial, Alberto Otárola, y los ministros de Defensa, Jorge Chávez; del Interior, Vicente Romero, y de Salud, César Vásquez.

También acudieron los titulares del Tribunal Constitucional, Francisco Morales; de la Contraloría, Nelson Shack; de la Junta Nacional de Justicia, Imelda Tumialán; de la Defensoría del Pueblo, Josué Gutiérrez, y la representante del Jurado Nacional de Elecciones, Delia Espinoza.

Al finalizar la reunión se emitió un pronunciamiento en el que se reiteró el firme compromiso con la defensa del sistema democrático, la gobernabilidad e institucionalidad del país.

Asimismo, como representantes de organizaciones del Estado, se reiteró el llamado a garantizar la plena vigencia de los derechos humanos, proteger a la población de las amenazas contra su seguridad y promover el bienestar general.

Además, se invocó a los ciudadanos que contemplan ejercer el derecho a la reunión, a la manifestación y a la protesta, a que lo hagan de manera pacífica.

The meeting, held at the Government Palace, was attended by the presidents of Congress, José Williams; from the Judiciary, Javier Arévalo; the head of the Ministerial Cabinet, Alberto Otárola, and the defense ministers, Jorge Chávez; of the Interior, Vicente Romero, and of Health, César Vásquez.

The heads of the Constitutional Court, Francisco Morales; from the Comptroller, Nelson Shack; from the National Board of Justice, Imelda Tumialán; of the Ombudsman, Josué Gutiérrez, and the representative of the National Elections Jury, Delia Espinoza.

At the end of the meeting, a statement was issued in which the firm commitment to defending the democratic system, governance and institutionality of the country was reiterated.

Likewise, as representatives of State organizations, the call to guarantee the full validity of human rights, protect the population from threats against their security and promote general well-being was reiterated.

In addition, citizens who are contemplating exercising the right to assembly, demonstration and protest were invoked to do so peacefully.
