La mandataria resaltó que este organismo público ejecutará, de manera descentralizada, las grandes obras que necesita el país, y será más eficiente y efectiva en el objetivo de reducir las brechas en infraestructura, sobre todo en los sectores vulnerables del Perú profundo.

En su discurso, la jefa de Estado agradeció el consenso alcanzado en el Congreso para la aprobación del proyecto que presentó el Ejecutivo en torno a la creación de la ANIN, la cual pondrá énfasis en obras como centros regionales especializados en la atención del cáncer.

“Cuando se trabaja por el Perú, cuando se impulsa el crecimiento y el desarrollo, cuando están de por medio las necesidades de nuestra población, no existen banderas ni diferencias políticas, la única bandera es la lucha contra la pobreza y la desigualdad”, enfatizó.

En otro momento, la presidenta ratificó la firme voluntad del Gobierno de seguir promoviendo el diálogo y el consenso sobre una agenda social con todos los sectores, tras reconocer a la ciudadanía que, en su mayoría, se manifestó pacíficamente en la víspera.

Por su parte, el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial, Alberto Otárola, destacó que la promulgación de la ley implicará una reforma profunda en el proceso de construcción de infraestructura y resaltó que la ANIN trabajará con todos los gobiernos regionales y locales.

A su turno, el titular del Congreso, José Williams, dijo que la ley es resultado de un trabajo conjunto en beneficio de la nación, al subrayar que la ANIN será estratégica para obras emblemáticas como carreteras, represas y otras que requiere el país.

La ceremonia contó con la presencia de los ministros de Economía y Finanzas, Alex Contreras; de Educación, Magnet Márquez; de Transportes y Comunicaciones, Paola Lazarte, y Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, Hania Pérez de Cuéllar.

También participaron la presidenta de la Comisión de Descentralización del Congreso, Diana Gonzales; el contralor Nelson Shack; el titular de la Asamblea Nacional de Gobiernos Regionales, Rohel Sánchez, y representantes de la sociedad civil.

La promulgación de la ley que crea la Autoridad Nacional de Infraestructura se enmarca en los ejes Reactivación económica y Más infraestructura y servicios para una mejor calidad de vida, consignados en la Política General de Gobierno.
