En su discurso, la jefa de Estado destacó que la FAP ha sabido llevar salud, educación y desarrollo a los pueblos más alejados, con vuelos de acción cívica para la llegada de programas sociales como Pensión 65 y Qali Warma, y el traslado de pacientes que requieren atención médica.

De igual forma, remarcó que las aeronaves y aviadores apoyan las acciones militares y policiales en zonas como el Valle de los Ríos Apurímac, Ene y Mantaro (Vraem), a fin de acabar con los remanentes del terrorismo que tanto daño ha causado a la patria.

“Por ello, en esta fecha conmemorativa, y en este lugar donde reposan los restos de nuestro héroe nacional José Abelardo Quiñones, rindo un justo homenaje y reconocimiento al esfuerzo desplegado por el personal de la FAP para la recuperación de nuestro poder aéreo nacional”, puntualizó la mandataria.

La presidenta Boluarte recordó también que el Gobierno ha entregado a la FAP el presupuesto necesario para el mantenimiento, reparación y soporte logístico de sus aeronaves, a fin de mejorar las capacidades de su personal y seguir cumpliendo su misión.

De igual forma, dijo la mandataria, se le ha dotado financiamiento para la adquisición de dos aeronaves para la evacuación de enfermos y heridos, y la compra de un sistema de telecomunicaciones vía satélite a nivel nacional que permitirá monitorear las emergencias.

La FAP, subrayó, marcha acorde con el avance de la ciencia y tecnología, y posee un centro de investigación y desarrollo de proyectos y un laboratorio automático de diagnóstico electrónico que brinda soporte a los equipos electrónicos de los aviones, entre otros, que contribuyen al objetivo de proteger a los 33 millones de peruanas y peruanos.

“En este objetivo seguiremos contando con el valioso apoyo de los oficiales, técnicos, suboficiales, personal de tropa y civiles de la FAP para seguir construyendo juntos un Perú más seguro, justo y equitativo, un Perú unido y solidario, un Perú fuerte y desarrollado”, enfatizó.

Participaron de la ceremonia, el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial, Alberto Otárola, así como los ministros de Defensa, Interior, Justicia y Derechos Humanos, Cultura, Comercio Exterior y Turismo, Mujer y Poblaciones Vulnerables.

Asimismo, el presidente del Congreso, José Williams, los titulares del Tribunal Constitucional, Francisco Morales, y de la Defensoría del Pueblo, Josué Gutiérrez, y autoridades castrenses.

In the same way, the president said, financing has been provided for the acquisition of two aircraft for the evacuation of the sick and injured, and the purchase of a nationwide satellite telecommunications system that will allow monitoring emergencies.

The FAP, he stressed, is in keeping with the advancement of science and technology, and has a project research and development center and an automatic electronic diagnostic laboratory that provides support to the electronic equipment of aircraft, among others, which contribute to the objective of protecting the 33 million Peruvians.

“In this objective we will continue to count on the valuable support of FAP officers, technicians, NCOs, troop personnel and civilians to continue building together a safer, fairer and more equitable Peru, a united and supportive Peru, a strong and developed Peru”, he emphasized.

The head of the Ministerial Cabinet, Alberto Otárola, as well as the ministers of Defense, Interior, Justice and Human Rights, Culture, Foreign Trade and Tourism, Women and Vulnerable Populations participated in the ceremony.
