Así lo dio a conocer la ministra de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, Hania Pérez de Cuéllar, quien recibió de parte del gobernador regional de Arequipa, Rohel Sánchez, el acuerdo del Consejo Regional, que permitirá impulsar esta iniciativa dirigida a beneficiar a las familias que no cuentan con viviendas dignas en la región.

“Quiero felicitar al gobernador y a su Consejo Regional, por tener esta visión de futuro, esta visión estadista que contribuirá al cierre de brechas de vivienda en Arequipa. Su ejemplo será replicado en otras regiones”, destacó la titular del Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento (MVCS).

Según el acuerdo, el GORE Arequipa dispondrá S/ 29 700 000, equivalente a 1000 bonos familiares habitacionales, en la modalidad de Construcción en Sitio Propio. Por su parte, el MVCS financiará 1000 bonos adicionales.

“Nosotros como GORE vamos a dar asistencia técnica a postulantes, para que tengan el saneamiento físico y legal de sus propiedades y puedan acceder a estos bonos”, señaló el gobernador Rohel Sánchez.

Cabe señalar que actualmente existe un déficit de 96,400 viviendas en Arequipa, de las cuales 88,300 corresponden a la zona urbana y los 8,100 al área rural.

PLAN DE DESARROLLO URBANO
Asimismo, la ministra participó en la firma de convenio de cooperación interinstitucional con la municipalidad provincial de Arequipa, que permitirá el asesoramiento técnico para actualizar el Plan de Desarrollo Urbano (PDU) de la ciudad.

“Este convenio de colaboración técnica, nos permitirá destrabar el Plan de Desarrollo Urbano, que es un instrumento necesario para el ordenamiento y la planificación del territorio, frente al crecimiento de la ciudad” resaltó la ministra Pérez de Cuéllar, quien destacó que el PDU también permitirá la reactivación económica de Arequipa.

El acuerdo, suscrito por el alcalde provincial de Arequipa, Víctor Hugo Rivera Chávez y el viceministro de Vivienda y Urbanismo, Hernán Navarro, tiene como objetivo desarrollar el PDU en el plazo de un año a fin de impulsar la reactivación económica.

Cabe señalar que la provincia de Arequipa no actualiza su PDU desde hace 10 años, lo que ha traído como consecuencia un crecimiento desordenado de la ciudad, afectando no solo la seguridad de la población sino la generación de inversiones.

FIRMA DE CONVENIO PARA CONSTRUCCIÓN DE VIVIENDA RURAL
Como parte de su jornada de trabajo la ministra de Vivienda se trasladó a la provincia de Espinar, Cusco, para la firma del convenio entre el MVCS y los municipios distritales de Condoroma y Ocoruro, que permitirá la construcción de módulos habitacionales Sumaq Wasi, haciendo uso de recursos del canon.

Tanto la municipalidad de Condoroma, como la de Ocoruro destinarán S/ 500 000 para la construcción de estas viviendas, mientras que, el MVCS, a través del Programa Nacional de Vivienda Rural (PNVR), realizará la elaboración del expediente técnico y la ejecución de 60 Sumaq Wasi en cada distrito, que beneficiarán a 480 pobladores en condición de pobreza y pobreza extrema, que son afectados por las bajas temperaturas.

Finalmente, se hizo entrega de 896 títulos de vivienda y equipamiento urbano en Cusco para las provincias de Canas, Canchis, Chumbivilcas y Espinar.

URBAN DEVELOPMENT PLAN
Likewise, the minister participated in the signing of an inter-institutional cooperation agreement with the provincial municipality of Arequipa, which will allow technical advice to update the city’s Urban Development Plan (PDU).

“This technical collaboration agreement will allow us to unlock the Urban Development Plan, which is a necessary instrument for the ordering and planning of the territory, in the face of the growth of the city,” highlighted Minister Pérez de Cuéllar, who stressed that the PDU also will allow the economic reactivation of Arequipa.

The agreement, signed by the Provincial Mayor of Arequipa, Víctor Hugo Rivera Chávez, and the Deputy Minister of Housing and Urbanism, Hernán Navarro, aims to develop the PDU within a year in order to promote economic recovery.

It should be noted that the province of Arequipa has not updated its PDU for 10 years, which has resulted in a disorderly growth of the city, affecting not only the security of the population but also the generation of investments.

SIGNING OF AGREEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF RURAL HOUSING
