“Tengan la seguridad que mi gobierno está comprometido con una política exterior que va al encuentro de esos objetivos con una agenda internacional positiva y propositiva”, afirmó.

La mandataria precisó que el Perú retoma su presencia en el escenario internacional, como un país que apuesta por el diálogo y la integración, con estabilidad jurídica y reglas claras, y con un orden democrático y constitucional que, a pesar de todo, se ha mantenido y se fortalece en beneficio de todas y todos los peruanos.

MENSAJE PAÍS QUE LLEVARÁ A BRASIL
La mandataria sostuvo, en ese sentido, que espera llevar a Brasil el mensaje del Perú sobre una Amazonía con rostro humano, en el que nuestro país tiene que jugar un rol importante en el mundo.

“La próxima semana esperamos llevar a la Reunión de Presidentes de los Estados Partes del Tratado de Cooperación Amazónica, en Brasil, un mensaje de una Amazonía con rostro humano. Estoy convencida que nuestro país tiene que jugar un papel importante en este mundo contemporáneo complejo y difícil”, sostuvo.

La jefa de Estado resaltó que Perú acaba de asumir la presidencia pro tempore de la Alianza del Pacífico, desde donde se enfrentará desafíos comunes como la pobreza, la desigualdad y la reactivación económica.

“En setiembre, el Perú hará oír su voz en la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas. Mantendremos una permanente proyección al Asia Pacífico, a través del foro APEC que conduciremos el 2024”, señaló.

Boluarte Zegarra también agradeció al presidente de Estados Unidos, Joe Biden, por la invitación para que el Perú sea parte de la Alianza de las Américas para la Prosperidad Económica, iniciativa que se está trabajando con la Cancillería.

La presidenta Boluarte estuvo acompaña por la ministra de Relaciones Exteriores, Ana Cecilia Gervasi, y miembros del cuerpo diplomático de la Cancillería.

COUNTRY MESSAGE THAT WILL BRING TO BRAZIL
In this sense, the president said that she hopes to bring Peru’s message to Brazil about an Amazon with a human face, in which our country has to play an important role in the world.

“Next week we hope to bring to the Meeting of Presidents of the States Parties to the Amazon Cooperation Treaty, in Brazil, a message from an Amazon with a human face. I am convinced that our country has to play an important role in this complex and difficult contemporary world,” she said.

The Head of State highlighted that Peru has just assumed the pro tempore presidency of the Pacific Alliance, from where it will face common challenges such as poverty, inequality and economic recovery.

“In September, Peru will make its voice heard at the United Nations General Assembly. We will maintain a permanent projection to Asia Pacific, through the APEC forum that we will lead in 2024,” he said.

Boluarte Zegarra also thanked the President of the United States, Joe Biden, for the invitation for Peru to be part of the Alliance of the Americas for Economic Prosperity, an initiative that is being worked on with the Foreign Ministry.

President Boluarte was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ana Cecilia Gervasi, and members of the Foreign Ministry’s diplomatic corps.
