Indicó que esta medida se suma a otras adoptadas para combatir posibles casos de corrupción en dicha institución.
“Nos ponemos a disposición para brindar todas las facilidades y se conozca la verdad sobre estas bochornosas coimas que nos avergüenzan como peruanos y que tienen que servir de modelo para que esto cambie”, enfatizó.
En ese sentido, resaltó la creación de la nueva Autoridad Nacional de Infraestructura (ANIN), de la cual dijo será una entidad “moderna, eficiente y que cortará el cordón umbilical que une a malos empresarios con malos funcionarios públicos”, subrayó.
PREVENIDOS ANTE EL FENÓMENO EL NIÑO
Durante el Consejo de Ministros, distintos sectores ofrecieron un reporte sobre lo avanzado en materia de prevención ante el fenómeno El Niño.
En cuanto a Transportes y Comunicaciones, se indicó una inversión para la adquisición de maquinaria para reforzar la capacidad de respuesta en la Red Vial Nacional; además, se está adquiriendo puentes modulares.
En el marco del Plan Multisectorial de Prevención, desde la ARCC se desarrollarán más de 100 intervenciones hasta fin de año, de las cuales cerca de 30 están en marcha en las regiones declaradas en emergencia. El Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento continúa con tareas en las zonas urbanas, mientras que Desarrollo Agrario y Riego realiza limpieza y descolmatación de quebradas y cuencas, y Defensa prepara 11 batallones de ingeniería destinados a la zona norte y nororiental del país.
MEJOR EJECUCIÓN DE LA INVERSIÓN PÚBLICA
Por su parte, el Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas, informó sobre el avance de la ejecución de la inversión pública a todo nivel de gobierno, la cual presenta un incremento de 8% (S/23 377 millones) con respecto al periodo de enero a agosto del año 2022 (S/21 643 millones).
En este aspecto, el Gobierno nacional presenta el mayor avance (44.8%) y la PCM supera el umbral de ejecución.
Acompañaron al premier Alberto Otárola en conferencia de prensa los ministros de Defensa, Jorge Chávez Cresta; Economía y Finanzas, Alex Contreras; Transportes y Comunicaciones, Paola Lazarte; y del Interior, Vicente Romero.
OTRAS MEDIDAS
El Consejo de Ministros aprobó la prórroga del estado de emergencia en zonas de frontera del país con el fin de realizar acciones de control del crimen trasnacional por 30 días a partir del 26 de agosto.

PREVENTION OF THE EL NIÑO PHENOMENON
During the Council of Ministers, different sectors offered a report on the progress made in terms of prevention of the El Niño phenomenon.
Regarding Transportation and Communications, an investment was indicated for the acquisition of machinery to reinforce the response capacity in the National Road Network; In addition, modular bridges are being acquired.
Within the framework of the Multisectoral Prevention Plan, the ARCC will carry out more than 100 interventions until the end of the year, of which about 30 are underway in the regions declared in emergency. The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation continues with tasks in urban areas, while Agrarian Development and Irrigation cleans and clears streams and basins, and Defense prepares 11 engineering battalions for the north and northeast of the country.
BEST EXECUTION OF PUBLIC INVESTMENT
For its part, the Ministry of Economy and Finance reported on the progress of the execution of public investment at all levels of government, which shows an increase of 8% (S/23,377 million) compared to the period from January to August of the year 2022 (S/21,643 million).
