El ranking fue liderado por las uvas (US$ 520 millones 078 mil), al experimentar un incremento de 10.6% y representar el 48.1% del total. Destacaron también las paltas (US$ 92 millones 740 mil), las demás frutas y otros frutos frescos (US$ 67 millones 810 mil), espárragos (US$ 48 millones 795 mil), wilkings (US$ 42 millones 050 mil), cebollas (US$ 23 millones 733 mil), entre otros.

La oferta iqueña llegó a 89 destinos. A pesar de experimentar una contracción de -3.1%, el principal fue EE.UU. con US$ 421 millones 582 mil (concentró el 39% del total). Completaron el top ten Países Bajos, China, España, Hong Kong, México, Reino Unido, Canadá, Chile y Corea del Sur.

PRIMERA REGIÓN EXPORTADORA
Según cifras del Sistema de Inteligencia ADEX Data Trade, en el periodo analizado Ica –sin contar Lima y Callao– fue la primera región exportadora peruana al sumar US$ 4 mil 092 millones, un incremento de 0.8% respecto a similar periodo del año anterior (US$ 4 mil 061 millones). El 66% de sus despachos fueron tradicionales (US$ 2 mil 712 millones) y el 34% no tradicionales (US$1,380 millones).

En el sector tradicional destacó la actividad minera con US$ 2 mil 201 millones, principalmente hierro, cobre, estaño, cinc y oro. También exportó hidrocarburos y productos de pesca y agro tradicionales. En los envíos con valor agregado resaltaron la agroindustria (US$ 1,017 millones), siderometalurgia (US$ 152 millones 355 mil), prendas de vestir (US$125 millones 709 mil) y la pesca para Consumo Humano Directo (US$ 62 millones 861 mil).

En el marco de las actividades por su 50 Aniversario –la fecha central fue el 18 de julio pasado–, ADEX realizará el 16 y 17 de octubre próximo la conferencia ‘Exportando sueños: Oportunidades del Comercio Exterior desde la región Ica’, en la sede de la Universidad Tecnológica del Perú (UTP).

Participarán el ministro de Comercio Exterior y Turismo (Mincetur), Juan Carlos Mathews; el rector de la UTP, Jonathan Golergant Niego; y el presidente de ADEX, Julio Pérez Alván, quien cumplirá una agenda de trabajo que incluye reuniones con representantes de la cámara de Comercio de Ica, de la Municipalidad Provincial y del Gobierno Regional de Ica.
