La jefa de Estado dio un discurso enérgico desde la ciudad de Trujillo, donde inauguró la II sesión del Consejo Nacional de Seguridad Ciudadana (Conasec). Allí enfatizó que será inflexible en la lucha contra la delincuencia y aseguró que no se seguirá albergando a delincuentes en el Perú.

“Extenderemos el estado de emergencia para el orden interno en el Cercado de Lima, en apoyo a los vecinos, a los emprendedores que han invertido en pequeños negocios y para dar seguridad a los miles de turistas que diariamente visitan nuestro centro histórico”, dijo.

Agregó que se repotenciará al Centro de Comando, Control, Comunicaciones, Cómputo e Inteligencia de la PNP, más conocido como C4, el mismo que será modernizado para fortalecer el desplazamiento inmediato de la policía en toda la ciudad.

La mandataria también informó sobre la publicación de los decretos legislativos N°1573 y N°1574. El primero permite la expulsión de extranjeros que hayan cometido delitos como homicidio, violación sexual, sicariato, secuestro, feminicidio, entre otros, después de cumplida su condena. El segundo decreto modifica el Código Procesal Penal en cuanto al control de identidad policial para la plena identificación del extranjero.

“Reitero que mi gobierno será inflexible en aplicar los plazos otorgados a los migrantes en situación irregular, a fin de que formalicen su permanencia en nuestro territorio. Vencido el plazo, no habrá más prórroga”, sostuvo.

La presidenta participo en la clausura del Conasec junto al presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Alberto Otárola, así como ministros de Estado. También estuvo la fiscal de la nación, Patricia Benavides; el gobernador regional de La Libertad, César Acuña, y alcaldes de diversas jurisdicciones del país.

There he emphasized that he will be inflexible in the fight against crime and assured that criminals will not continue to be harbored in Peru.

“We will extend the state of emergency for internal order in the Cercado de Lima, in support of the neighbors, the entrepreneurs who have invested in small businesses and to provide security to the thousands of tourists who visit our historic center daily,” he said.

He added that the PNP’s Command, Control, Communications, Computing and Intelligence Center, better known as C4, will be repowered, which will be modernized to strengthen the immediate movement of the police throughout the city.

The president also reported on the publication of legislative decrees No. 1573 and No. 1574. The first allows the expulsion of foreigners who have committed crimes such as homicide, rape, hitmen, kidnapping, feminicide, among others, after completing their sentence. The second decree modifies the Criminal Procedure Code regarding police identity control for the full identification of the foreigner.

“I reiterate that my government will be inflexible in applying the deadlines granted to migrants in an irregular situation, so that they formalize their stay in our territory. Once the deadline has expired, there will be no more extension,” he said.

The president participated in the closing of Conasec together with the president of the Council of Ministers, Alberto Otárola, as well as ministers of State. The nation’s prosecutor, Patricia Benavides, was also present; the regional governor of La Libertad, César Acuña, and mayors of various jurisdictions in the country.
