Víctor Landaverry, entrenador del equipo femenino del colegio Claretiano, indicó que cuando llegaron a Ica, la comisión organizadora puso una serie de trabas no solo a su delegación sino a otros centros educativos, como observaron de la documentación de los estudiantes, a pesar de que durante todo el campeonato en la región Lima Metropolitana no tuvieron ningún problema y todo estuvo en regla.

“Lo que ha pasado con los escolares es un atropello, las dos delegaciones, tanto de varones como de mujeres, ganaron todos sus partidos en cancha, es más, dijeron que había irregularidades como los certificados médicos de los escolares eran falsos, pese los jóvenes volvieron por el médico y se les entregó otros certificados y nos inscribieron. Y ganamos limpiamente todos los partidos”, indicó el entrenador.

El campeonato se realizó en las instalaciones del Colegio Médico en Ica del 18 al 22 de setiembre último, donde Claretiano participó como campeón de Lima Metropolitana, un colegio del Callao, un colegio de Ancash, uno de Cañete e Ica (IEP San Francisco College)

“El equipo de damas ganó con mucha diferencia a sus rivales, en el caso de los varones, en la final se enfrentó al colegio de Ica y no se validó en mesa varios puntos que anotábamos. Al final se empató, fuimos al alargue y pese a todo se logró ganar, todos los muchachos estaban contentos, pero inexplicablemente no hubo premiación, nos dijeron que luego se iba a informar sobre la premiación. Volvimos a Lima y hasta ahora no nos brindan una respuesta, indican que recién saldrá la resolución de los ganadores, pero hasta la fecha nada”, agregó Landaberry.

Pero grande fue su sorpresa, de que, en las redes sociales de colegio de Ancash, que había quedado segundo en la competencia de básquet femenino, anunciaban que habían ganado la competencia y lucían sus medallas en Facebook.

“Ni antes, ni durante, ni después de cada partido jugado se nos hizo saber que habría algún reclamo, tal como lo demuestran las planillas de juego, de lo contrario no nos hubieran dejado participar. Al ver este atropello, hicimos el reclamo respectivo en el Ministerio de Educación porque si queremos brindar valores, la buena conducta en los jóvenes, ¿cómo se puede competir esta injusticia? Debe premiarse al ganador”, añadió el entrenador.
