La mandataria destacó la articulación entre el sector privado y el Ministerio de Energía y Minas para hacer realidad esta obra, con una inversión que bordeó los 150 millones de dólares, la misma que transportará la energía generada en el Complejo Hidroeléctrico Mantaro a diferentes subestaciones del centro del Perú.

“Es por eso que salimos a traer más inversiones que contribuyan al desarrollo de la patria, con el compromiso de generar más empleo, desarrollo para todos los peruanos y peruanas, y en especial para nuestro Perú profundo”, apuntó.

Asimismo, la jefa de Estado precisó que entre enero a setiembre de 2023, se concluyó 13 proyectos de electrificación rural en Áncash, Ayacucho, Huánuco, Junín, La Libertad, Loreto, Pasco y San Martín, beneficiando a más de 39 mil habitantes de 261 localidades; y en lo que resta del año se espera concluir proyectos similares en 11 regiones, beneficiando a más de 62 mil habitantes.

“Ratifico que el objetivo de mi Gobierno es viabilizar el acceso a la energía eléctrica, ya sea mediante los métodos convencionales o a través de nuevas tecnologías de energía solar que brindan una oportunidad para las localidades situadas en zonas de difícil acceso”, manifestó.

Finalmente, la jefa de Estado sostuvo que, con los 118 proyectos de electrificación rural que se ejecutarán a nivel nacional hasta el 2026, se generarán beneficios directos a más de 900 mil habitantes de las zonas más vulnerables, y se alcanzará una cobertura del 96% en electrificación de los sectores rurales.
