A través de un decreto de urgencia sustentado durante la sesión del Consejo de Ministros realizado hoy, se autoriza destinar ese presupuesto al Ministerio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, al sector Interior y al Poder Judicial, así como a las municipalidades distritales de San Juan de Lurigancho y San Martín de Porres (Lima) y Sullana, Bellavista, Ignacio Escudero, Marcavelica, Miguel Checa, Querecotillo y Salitral (Piura).

La disposición apunta a la implementación de las Unidades de Flagrancia Delictiva y la puesta en marcha de las brigadas especiales contra el crimen organizado a cargo de la PNP. Además, permite dotar de recursos logísticos a los Departamentos de Investigación Criminal de San Juan de Lurigancho, San Martín de Porres y Sullana.

“Esta es una norma muy potente en la lucha frontal emprendida por este Gobierno contra la delincuencia”, manifestó el premier.

En la misma línea, detalló que el Consejo de Ministros aprobó el uso de los recursos del canon y sobrecanon en los gobiernos locales y gobiernos regionales en materia de seguridad ciudadana. De esa manera, estos podrán financiar y cofinanciar inversiones al respecto, lo que incluye infraestructura y equipamiento a favor del Ministerio del Interior, para ser destinados a la PNP.

“En virtud de las facultades que nos ha delegado el Congreso de la República, hemos aprobado esta medida que va a permitir repotenciar, por ejemplo, las comisarías, así como un trabajo más estrecho con la Policía”, explicó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial.

3OO GOBIERNOS LOCALES RECIBEN PRESUPUESTO PARA PREVENCIÓN ANTE EL FEN
En esta jornada también se acordó una transferencia de S/104 millones que beneficia a 300 gobiernos locales de las regiones Piura, La Libertad, Lima, Lambayeque, Tumbes, Áncash, Ica, Cajamarca, Huancavelica y Tacna, territorios que suman unos 4 millones de personas en riesgo ante el fenómeno El Niño (FEN).

Además, se acordó la emisión de un decreto supremo para declarar en estado de emergencia por 60 días en diferentes distritos a nivel nacional por peligro inminente ante el periodo de lluvias 2023-2024.

Por otra parte, el Ejecutivo declaró de necesidad pública la participación del sector privado en la concesión del proyecto “Línea de Transmisión 500 kilovoltios Subestación Piura Nueva-Frontera”. La iniciativa posibilitará la disponibilidad de fuentes alternativas de energía, en caso de condiciones climáticas adversas o ante la ocurrencia de grandes siniestros.

La Superintendencia Nacional de Migraciones dio a conocer los avances del proceso de regularización migratoria para extranjeros en el Perú. Hasta la fecha, se registraron 163 320 solicitudes presentadas y 42 mil carnés de permiso temporal de permanencia (CPP) entregados.

3OO LOCAL GOVERNMENTS RECEIVE BUDGET FOR FEN PREVENTION
